Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Lock Care: Periodically check the key lock for smooth operation. Do not force the key if it feels stiff; a small amount of graphite lubricant can be applied if necessary.
  • Key Management: Keep track of both keys. Consider storing one key in a separate, secure location as a backup.

Troubleshooting

Key will not turn:

  • Ensure the key is fully inserted into the lock.
  • Check for any obstructions in the keyway.
  • Try the spare key. If the spare key works, the original key may be damaged.

Door will not close properly:

  • Check for any items obstructing the door's path or the locking mechanism.
  • Ensure the safe is on a level surface and not warped due to improper mounting.
