1. Introduction

The front panel features a color display, control knobs, and buttons for navigation and function selection. The unit is equipped with dual speakers for stereo sound and an extendable antenna for FM reception. A sturdy aluminum handle allows for easy portability.

4. Setup

4.1 Powering On

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the radio and plug it into a wall outlet. Alternatively, the built-in rechargeable battery provides over 10 hours of playtime for portable use. Press the Power button to turn the unit on.

4.2 Initial Setup Wizard

Upon first use, the radio will guide you through an initial setup wizard:

  1. Language Selection: Use the navigation knob to select your preferred language and press the knob to confirm.
  2. Time and Date: Set the current time and date. This can often be automatically updated via the internet connection.
  3. Network Connection (Wi-Fi): The radio requires a Wi-Fi connection for Internet Radio and Podcast features.

4.3 Wi-Fi Connection

To connect to your Wi-Fi network:

  1. Select 'Network Wizard' from the menu or during initial setup.
  2. The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Select your network from the list.
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the navigation knob to select characters and confirm.
  5. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon will appear on the display.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Mode Selection

Press the Mode button to cycle through available modes: Internet Radio, FM Radio, Bluetooth Audio, and AUX-In.

5.2 Internet Radio & Podcasts

Access thousands of global radio stations and podcasts.

In Internet Radio mode, you can browse stations by country, genre, or popularity. Use the navigation knob to scroll through lists and press to select. For podcasts, navigate to the podcast section to search and play episodes.

5.3 FM Radio

For local and national broadcasts, switch to FM Radio mode. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.

  • Auto Scan: Press the 'Scan' button (if available) or navigate through the menu to perform an auto scan for available FM stations.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the navigation knob to manually tune to specific frequencies.

5.4 Presets

The IR6 supports up to 150 presets across all radio modes. To save a station, tune to the desired station, then press and hold the 'Presets' button until the 'Save Preset' option appears. Select a preset number and confirm. To recall a preset, briefly press the 'Presets' button and select from your saved list.

5.5 Bluetooth Streaming

Stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  • Switch the radio to Bluetooth mode. The display will show 'Bluetooth Pairing'.
  • On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for 'LEMEGA IR6'.
  • Select 'LEMEGA IR6' to pair. Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the radio.

5.6 AUX-In

Connect external audio sources like MP3 players or older devices using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX-In port.

  • Switch the radio to AUX-In mode.
  • Connect your external device to the AUX-In port.
  • Control playback from your external device.

5.7 Alarm Clock & Sleep Timer

The IR6 includes an alarm clock and sleep timer function.

  • Setting Alarms: Press the 'Alarm' button to access alarm settings. You can set multiple alarms, choosing to wake to Internet Radio, FM, or a buzzer.
  • Snooze: When an alarm sounds, press any button (except Power) to activate snooze.
  • Sleep Timer: Press the 'Sleep' button to set a timer for the radio to automatically turn off after a specified duration.

5.8 Sound Settings

The LEMEGA IR6 features true 2.0 stereo sound with dual speakers, delivering clear vocals and balanced audio. While specific bass/treble controls are not detailed, general volume is adjusted via the main knob.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the radio, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

6.2 Battery Care

The IR6 features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. For optimal battery life:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the battery using the provided USB-C port and power adapter.
  • If storing the unit for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
