3. Once connected, the repeater will assign an IPv4 address via DHCP.

6.2 Configuration

1. Open a web browser on your connected device.
2. Enter the gateway IP address (e.g., 192.168.16.1) into the address bar and press Enter. (Note: Do not use 'repeater.cn' as indicated in some older manuals; use the gateway IP from your connection settings.)
3. Log in using the default credentials (usually username: admin, password: admin). It is highly recommended to change the default password immediately for security.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your home WiFi network (SSID) and enter its password.
5. Save the settings. The repeater will restart and connect to your main router, extending its signal.
