1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the VASAGLE Kailyn Nightstand. This modern bedside table features integrated power outlets, adjustable LED lighting, and convenient storage drawers. This manual provides essential information for safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new furniture. Please read these instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain them for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Stability Warning: This nightstand may not be stable with heavier loads. Always distribute weight evenly and avoid placing excessively heavy items on the tabletop or in drawers.
• Anti-Tip Kit: An anti-tip kit is included to secure the nightstand to the wall. It is highly recommended to install this kit to prevent accidental tipping, especially in households with children or pets.
• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged during assembly or use. Do not overload the power outlets. Disconnect from power before cleaning or if any electrical component is damaged.
• Assembly: Follow all assembly steps precisely. Do not use power tools unless explicitly instructed, as overtightening screws can damage the material.
• Placement: Place the nightstand on a flat, stable surface. Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes to prevent material damage.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. A screwdriver is the recommended tool. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the included accessory kit for detailed guidance. Below are key features and their integration during assembly.

4.1 Dimensions Overview

4.2 Installing the Sliding Lid and Power Outlets

The nightstand features a sliding lid that conceals a built-in power strip. During assembly, ensure the power strip is correctly positioned and secured within the compartment before attaching the sliding lid mechanism. The lid should slide smoothly to reveal and hide the charging station.

4.3 LED Light Strip Installation

The LED light strip can be mounted in two positions: at the top or in the middle section of the nightstand, allowing for customized ambient lighting effects. Refer to the detailed assembly instructions for specific steps on securing the LED strip and connecting it to the power source.

4.4 Drawer Assembly

Assemble the two drawers according to the instructions. Ensure the drawer slides are installed correctly for smooth operation. The nightstand features two different-sized drawers for versatile storage.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Hidden Charging Station

To access the charging station, gently slide the top lid of the nightstand. The integrated power strip includes:

• 2 x AC Outlets
• 1 x USB-A Port
• 1 x USB-C Port
• 1 x USB-A Port (at the rear)

Plug your devices into the appropriate ports for charging. When not in use, slide the lid back to conceal the charging area and maintain a tidy appearance.

5.2 Controlling the LED Lights

The LED light strip offers over 29 colors and multiple dynamic modes. Control options include:

• Mobile App Control: Download the dedicated mobile application to access all features, including color selection, brightness adjustment, dynamic modes, music sync, mic sync, and timer functions.
• Manual Control: A remote control is provided for basic functions such as turning the lights on/off, changing colors, and adjusting brightness.

Experiment with different settings to create your desired ambiance.

5.3 Utilizing Side Slots for Storage

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
• Dusting: Regularly dust the nightstand to prevent buildup.
• Electrical Components: Keep the power outlets and LED strip free from dust and moisture. Do not attempt to repair electrical components yourself.
• Drawer Slides: Periodically check drawer slides for smooth operation. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied.
