Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of your AKIRES 45-inch Large Swamp Cooler. This 3-in-1 portable evaporative air cooler features 5100 CFM airflow, a 16.5-gallon water tank, 120° oscillation, remote control, a 12-hour timer, 3 modes, and 3 wind speeds, suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

Setup

1. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the four 360° swivel casters to the bottom of the unit. Ensure the two casters with brakes are positioned correctly for stability.
2. Initial Water Fill: Open the top lid of the cooler. You can manually inject water into the top water injection port or connect a standard household hose to the water inlet for continuous water supply. Fill the 16.5-gallon water tank, observing the water level line to avoid overfilling.
3. Ice Packs: For enhanced cooling, fill the provided ice packs with water and freeze them. Place the frozen ice packs into the designated compartments in the top water tank.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
2. Fan Speed: Select from 3 fan speeds (Low, Medium, High) using the Speed button on the control panel or remote. The display will show F1, F2, or F3.
3. Modes: Cycle through different modes (Normal, Natural, Sleep) using the Mode button. Natural mode varies fan speed to simulate natural wind. Sleep mode operates quietly for undisturbed rest.
4. Cooling Function: Press the Cool button to activate the evaporative cooling function. This circulates water over the cooling pads, releasing cooler, humidified air. Ensure the water tank has sufficient water before activating.
5. Oscillation: Activate the 120° oscillation feature by pressing the Swing button. This distributes cool air evenly across a wide area. The vertical swing function is 80°.
6. Timer: Set the 1-12 hour timer using the Timer button. The unit will automatically shut off after the set duration.
7. Remote Control: All functions can be controlled via the included remote control for convenience.

Maintenance

1. Water Tank Drainage: To remove residual water or change the water, locate the drain at the bottom of the unit. Pull the plug to drain the water. This makes maintenance easier.
2. Filter Cleaning: The evaporative air cooler features removable and washable filters. Regularly clean the filters to ensure optimal performance and air quality.
3. Storage: The innovative removable water tank makes cleaning and storage more convenient.
