  • Main Dial: Displays hours, minutes, and seconds.
  • Sub-dials: Chronograph minute counter, 24-hour indicator, and small seconds.
  • Date Window: Displays the current date.

Setup

Initial Charging

Your Eco-Drive watch is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, expose it to bright light (natural or artificial) for several hours to ensure it is sufficiently charged. The second hand may move in two-second intervals if the charge is low, indicating a low power warning.

Setting the Time and Date

  1. Pull the crown out to position 2: The second hand will stop.
  2. Rotate the crown: Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set by observing the 24-hour sub-dial. When setting the minute hand, advance it a few minutes past the desired time, then turn it back to the exact minute.
  3. Push the crown back to position 0: The second hand will resume movement.
  4. Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to position 1. Rotate the crown to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
  5. Push the crown back to position 0: After setting the date.

Operating Instructions

Using the Chronograph

The chronograph function allows for precise measurement of elapsed time.

  1. Start: Press pusher A to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin moving.
  2. Stop: Press pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph second hand and minute sub-dial.
  3. Reset: After stopping, press pusher B to reset the chronograph hands to their zero positions.
  4. Split Time (if applicable): Consult the detailed movement manual for advanced chronograph functions like split time measurement.

24-Hour Display

The 24-hour sub-dial indicates the current time in a 24-hour format, useful for distinguishing between AM and PM when setting the main time.

Maintenance

Charging Your Eco-Drive Watch

To maintain optimal performance, ensure your watch is regularly exposed to light. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places. A full charge can last up to 270 days in complete darkness.

Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 BAR). This means it is suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling. However, it is not suitable for scuba diving. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water intrusion.
