Setup and Installation
Your POOLHACKER Solar Pool Light comes with three different mounting bases to ensure compatibility with various pool types. Please identify your pool type and follow the corresponding installation instructions.
1. Identify Your Pool Type and Select Mounting Base

Mounting Base A: For Metal Frame Above-Ground Pools
- Attach Mounting Base A to the solar light unit.
- Position the light on the metal frame of your above-ground pool.
- Tighten the knob clockwise to secure the light firmly in place. Ensure it is stable and the light panel is submerged in water.
Mounting Base B: For Steel Wall Above-Ground Pools
- Attach Mounting Base B to the solar light unit.
- Pull the locking clip to secure the pool light onto the top rail of your steel wall above-ground pool.
- Verify the light is securely fastened and the LED panel is submerged.
Mounting Base C: For Inground Pools
- Attach Mounting Base C to the solar light unit.
- Apply the provided adhesive to the base of Mounting Base C.
- Carefully place and press the base onto the edge of your inground pool, ensuring good contact.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure completely before exposing the light to water or movement.

Operating Instructions
Your POOLHACKER Solar Pool Light is designed for ease of use. It features automatic dusk-to-dawn operation and can be controlled via the included remote.
Automatic Operation
The light is equipped with an ultra-responsive light sensor. It will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, provided it has received sufficient solar charge during the day.
Using the Remote Control
The remote control allows you to customize your lighting experience:
- Power On/Off: Use the ON/OFF buttons to manually control the light.
- Color Selection: Choose from 10 vibrant colors using the color buttons.
- Mode Selection: Select from 4 dynamic modes (Flash, Strobe, Fade, Smooth) to create different atmospheres.
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the light intensity to your preference.
- Timer Settings: Set the auto-off timer to 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours. The default is 4 hours.

- Inspect Mounting: Periodically check the mounting base for security and tightness, especially after heavy weather.
- Winter Storage: In colder climates, it is recommended to remove the light from the pool and store it indoors during winter months to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
Troubleshooting
