Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the radio. Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the radio's Type-C port and the other end to the power adapter, then plug into a wall outlet. Alternatively, connect to a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 10 hours of playback.

2. Antenna Adjustment

For optimal DAB and FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna.

3. Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power button to turn on the radio. The display will light up.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

To turn on: Press and hold the Power button.
To turn off: Press and hold the Power button again.

Mode Selection

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB Radio, FM Radio, Bluetooth, and TF Card Playback.

DAB Radio Operation

Switch to DAB mode using the MODE button.
The radio will automatically scan for DAB stations upon first use or if no stations are found. To manually scan, press the SCAN button.
Use the Previous/Next buttons to navigate through available stations.
To save a station as a preset: Press and hold the PRESET button, select a preset number using the Previous/Next buttons, then press the OK button to confirm. The radio supports up to 40 DAB presets.
To recall a preset: Briefly press the PRESET button, then use the Previous/Next buttons to select the desired preset and press OK.

FM Radio Operation

Switch to FM mode using the MODE button.
To auto-scan and save stations: Press the SCAN button. The radio will scan for and save strong stations automatically.
To manually tune: Use the Previous/Next buttons for fine-tuning.
To save a station as a preset: Follow the same steps as for DAB radio. The radio supports up to 40 FM presets.
To recall a preset: Follow the same steps as for DAB radio.

Bluetooth Functionality

Switch to Bluetooth mode using the MODE button. The display will show "Bluetooth" and indicate pairing mode.
On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
Select "Mesqool Radio" from the list. Once connected, the radio will confirm the connection.
You can now play audio from your device through the radio. Use the radio's Play/Pause and Previous/Next buttons to control playback.

TF Card Playback

Insert a TF card (up to 64GB, not included) with MP3 audio files into the TF card slot.
Switch to TF Card mode using the MODE button. The radio will automatically start playing music from the card.
Use the Play/Pause and Previous/Next buttons to control playback.

EQ Mode Adjustment

Press the EQ button repeatedly to cycle through different equalizer presets (e.g., Normal, Pop, Classic, Rock, Jazz, Bass) to customize your listening experience.

Setting Alarms

The radio features a dual alarm function. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed alarm setup. You can set two independent alarms with different times and alarm sources (e.g., buzzer, radio station).

Sleep Timer

Activate the sleep timer to automatically turn off the radio after a set period (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes). This feature is useful for falling asleep to music or radio.

Headphone Use

Plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Battery Care

Troubleshooting
