4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your FOSSiBOT F1800.

  • AC Wall Charging: Connect the AC charging cable to the unit's AC input port and then to a wall outlet. The display will show charging status. The F1800 supports adjustable AC charging power from 200W to 1000W via a dedicated knob. For rapid charging, select a higher wattage; for quieter operation and battery protection, select a lower wattage. A full charge can be achieved in approximately 45 minutes (0-80%).
  • Solar Charging: Connect compatible solar panels (up to 500W input) to the solar input port using the provided solar charging cable. Position panels in direct sunlight for optimal charging.
  • Car Charging: Use the car charging cable to connect the unit to your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter port.

5. Operation

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the main power button for a few seconds to turn the unit on or off. The display will illuminate upon activation.

5.2 Using Output Ports

  • AC Output: Press the AC power button to activate the AC outlets. Connect your devices. The F1800 provides pure sine wave output, safe for sensitive electronics.
  • USB Output: Press the USB power button to activate the USB-A and USB-C ports. Connect your USB-powered devices.
  • DC Output: Press the DC power button to activate the 12V cigarette lighter port.

You can operate multiple devices simultaneously across the 7 output ports.

5.3 ECO Mode

The F1800 features an ECO mode for energy saving. When activated, the unit will automatically power off if the output power is below a certain threshold for a set period, conserving battery life. This can be controlled via the unit or the mobile application.

5.4 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Function

When the F1800 is connected to an AC wall outlet and has devices plugged into its AC output ports, it can function as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). In the event of a power outage, the unit will automatically switch to battery power within 10 milliseconds, ensuring continuous operation for connected devices.

5.5 Mobile App Control

The F1800 supports external battery expansion for increased capacity. It is compatible with lead-acid and lithium batteries (12V/24V/48V).

  • Expansion cable is not included and must be purchased separately.

7. Troubleshooting
