Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Drying: The waterproof material dries quickly. Ensure the canopy top and sidewalls are completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mold and mildew.
  • Frame Care: Periodically check the metal frame for any signs of damage, rust, or loose connections. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame joints.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the canopy in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Canopy is unstable or sways in light wind. Not properly anchored; legs not fully extended/locked. Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked. Use all provided guy ropes and stakes to secure the canopy to the ground. Consider adding weight bags to the legs for extra stability.
Water pooling on the canopy top. Improper setup; canopy not taut enough. Ensure the frame is fully extended and the canopy top is stretched tightly over the frame. Adjust leg heights if necessary to create proper tension and allow water runoff.
Difficulty extending or collapsing the frame. Frame joints are stiff or misaligned. Ensure no fabric is caught in the joints. Apply gentle, even pressure. If very stiff, a silicone lubricant can be applied to moving parts (avoiding fabric).
