2. Safety Information

To ensure safe and optimal use of your monitor, please observe the following guidelines:

• Always use the provided power adapter and cables. This product has a high power consumption.
• Avoid placing the monitor in an upward-tilted position where it might be unstable.
• For comfortable viewing, position the monitor at eye level or slightly below.
• This monitor is designed for stationary indoor use. It is not intended for frequent portability due to its weight (approximately 3.5kg) and metal construction.
• Do not expose the monitor to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Keep the monitor away from liquids and avoid spilling any substances on it.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the monitor yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

4. Product Features

5. Connections and Ports

The monitor features a variety of ports for connecting to different devices:

• Type-C 3.1 (Full-function): Two ports for video, audio, data transfer, and power delivery.
• DP 1.4: DisplayPort input for high-resolution video and audio.
• HDMI 2.1: HDMI input for high-resolution video and audio.
• 3.5mm Headphone Jack: For connecting external audio devices.
• OTG Port: For connecting USB peripherals like a mouse or keyboard.

6. Setup

6.1 Initial Placement

Place the monitor on a stable, flat surface. Adjust the integrated stand to your desired viewing angle. The stand allows for 180° adjustment. For VESA mounting, use a compatible 100x100mm VESA mount (sold separately).

6.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided PD65W power adapter to the monitor's power input port and then to a power outlet. Ensure the power adapter is securely connected.

6.3 Device Connection

Connect your device (laptop, PC, game console, smartphone) to the monitor using the appropriate cable (Type-C, HDMI, or DP). For optimal performance, especially with 4K/144Hz or 1080P/288Hz, use high-quality cables that support the required bandwidth (e.g., HDMI 2.1 or DP 1.4).

Note: When connecting via Type-C, ensure your device's Type-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) and power delivery if you intend to power the monitor or charge your device through the monitor.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button (usually labeled ON/OFF or integrated with the menu button) to turn the monitor on or off. A long press (2-3 seconds) typically powers off the device.

7.2 OSD Menu Navigation

Use the control buttons on the side of the monitor to navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. These buttons typically include:

• Menu/Confirm: Enters the OSD menu and confirms selections.
• Plus (+): Navigates up or increases values. Also used for one-touch resolution/refresh rate switching.
• Minus (-): Navigates down or decreases values.
• Signal Source/Return: Changes input source or goes back in the menu.

To adjust settings like brightness, contrast, color modes, or FreeSync, enter the OSD menu and use the navigation buttons to select and modify options.

7.3 Switching Display Modes (4K/144Hz & 1080P/288Hz)

Press the '+' key on the monitor to quickly switch between 4K/144Hz and 1080P/288Hz display modes. After connecting a device, the monitor will automatically recognize the input device's resolution (1080P/4K). The refresh rate should be set on your connected device's display settings.

8. Display Modes

The monitor supports multiple display modes to enhance productivity and entertainment:

• Extended Mode: Displays different content on the monitor and your PC. Ideal for gaming, advertising creation, image editing, color grading, and CG production.
• Duplicate Mode: Displays the same content on both the monitor and your PC. Best for presentations, demonstrations, screen recording, and live streaming explanations.
• Vertical Display Mode: Rotates the monitor to a vertical orientation. Convenient for viewing documents, spreadsheets, code editing, posters, long designs, stock charts, and data dashboards.

Note: For Windows, you can easily switch display modes by pressing Win + P. For macOS, switch display modes from "System Settings" > "Displays". Vertical display is only supported on PC.

9. Gaming Experience

10. Creative Work

11. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a screen-cleaning solution specifically designed for monitors, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
• Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust.
• Cable Management: Ensure cables are neatly organized and not kinked or strained to prevent damage.

12. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
• No Signal: Verify that the video cable (Type-C, HDMI, or DP) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your device. Check that the correct input source is selected on the monitor via the OSD menu.
• Flickering Screen / Image Distortion: Check cable connections. Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date. If using a high refresh rate, confirm your cable and device support it. Try disabling FreeSync in the OSD menu to see if the issue persists.
• Incorrect Resolution / Refresh Rate: Adjust the display settings on your connected device (PC, console, etc.) to the desired resolution and refresh rate.
• Buttons Not Responding: Power cycle the monitor by unplugging it for a few seconds and then plugging it back in.
• Sound Issues: Ensure the volume is not muted on both the monitor and your connected device. Check headphone connections if using the 3.5mm jack.
