Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain sound quality and hygiene.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the earbuds and charging case.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Gently clean the eartips and speaker mesh to remove earwax or debris.
2. Storage
When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust, damage, and to keep them charged.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HOCO EQ25 earbuds, try the following solutions:
- Earbuds not pairing: Ensure both earbuds are charged. Place them back in the case, close the lid, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode. Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try to re-pair.
- No sound from one earbud: Ensure both earbuds are charged. Try placing both earbuds back in the case, closing the lid, and then taking them out again.
- Earbuds not charging: Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source. Check if the charging port is clean and free of debris.
- Poor sound quality: Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ears. Try different eartip sizes for a better seal. Clean the speaker mesh if necessary.
- Connection drops: Ensure you are within the Bluetooth range of your device (typically 10 meters/33 feet) and there are no significant obstacles.
