  4. Monitor Cycle: The autoclave will heat up, build pressure, and maintain the selected temperature for the specified duration. Monitor the pressure gauge to ensure it operates within safe limits.
  5. End of Cycle: Once the sterilization time is complete, the unit will beep and display 'End'.
  6. Pressure Release: Before opening the door, ensure the pressure gauge reads zero. Open the drain valve to release any remaining pressure and steam.
  7. Cooling: Slightly open the door to allow natural cooling and air drying of the instruments. This unit does not have an active drying cycle.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your autoclave.

  • Draining Water: After each use, once the unit has cooled and pressure is released, open the drain valve to empty the water reservoir.
  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the interior of the chamber and trays with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure no residue remains.
  • Gasket Inspection: Periodically inspect the door gasket for any signs of wear, cracks, or deformation. A damaged gasket can compromise the seal and sterilization effectiveness. Replace if necessary.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
