• Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the battery pack.
• Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.

Obstacle Avoidance and Pet/Child Safety

• The AI Object Recognition system helps the robot avoid common household objects. However, always clear the cleaning area of small or delicate items, loose cables, and pet waste to prevent damage or entanglement.
• The robot can adapt its cleaning behavior for homes with pets and children, including lowering noise levels near cribs.

3. Setup

Unboxing and Initial Placement

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all accessories listed in the 'Included Components' section are present.
2. Choose a suitable location for the self-cleaning charging dock. It should be on a hard, level surface, against a wall, with adequate space around it for the robot to maneuver.
3. Connect the power cord to the base station and plug it into a power outlet.

Connecting to Wi-Fi and Software Update

• Download the Narwal Freo App from your device's app store.
• Follow the in-app instructions to connect your NARWAL Flow 2 to your home Wi-Fi network. The robot supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
• Important: Before first use, update the robot to the latest software version via the app for optimal performance and access to all features.

4. Operating

The NARWAL Flow 2 offers various cleaning modes and smart features controllable via the Narwal Freo App.

Cleaning Modes

• Vacuum and Mop: Performs both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously.
• Vacuum Only: Focuses solely on vacuuming.
• Mop Only: Engages only the mopping function.

App Control and Mapping

• Use the Narwal Freo App to create and manage multi-level 3D maps of your home.
• Set custom cleaning schedules for different areas or times.
• Define No-Go Zones to restrict the robot from entering specific areas.
• Adjust cleaning settings such as suction power, mop humidity, and cleaning strategy for different floor types (Edit Surface, Edit Carpet).
• Utilize Child Lock to prevent accidental operation.

AI Obstacle Avoidance and Pet Mode

• Select between 'Smart' and 'Safety' obstacle avoidance strategies in the app settings. 'Smart' maintains optimal distance, while 'Safety' prioritizes collision prevention.
• In 'Family with Pets' settings, enable pet mode and select your pet type (cats, dogs, or both). This activates interactive pet features and adjusts cleaning behavior.
• The robot can navigate over thresholds up to 1.57 inches and clean under furniture as low as 3.74 inches.

5. Maintenance

The NARWAL Flow 2 is designed for low-maintenance operation, with its self-cleaning base station handling most routine tasks.

Base Station Self-Maintenance

• Mop Washing: The base station automatically washes the robot's mop with 212°F hot water during and after cleaning cycles.
• Mop Drying: After washing, the mop is dried with 104°F warm air to prevent odors and mildew.
• Self-Cleaning: The base station itself performs hot water self-cleaning to maintain hygiene.
• Dust Emptying: The robot automatically empties its dust bin into a 2.4L dust bag in the base station, providing up to 120 days of debris storage.
• Water Refilling: The base station automatically refills the robot's clean water tank.
• Detergent Dispensing: The smart detergent dispensing system ensures the correct amount of cleaning solution is used.

Consumable Replacement Frequency

• Dust bag: Every 120 days (90 days with pets).
• Roller brush: Every 6 months.
• Track mop pad: Every 1-3 months.
• Side brush: Every 3 months.
• Base filter: Every 3 months.
