1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use of this product. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Weight Capacity: Each seat has a maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs (113 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
• Keep all small parts and packaging materials away from children during assembly to prevent choking hazards.

• Do not stand on the sofa or use it as a step stool.

2. Package Contents

Your Merax Sectional Sofa is shipped in 5 separate boxes. Please ensure all boxes have arrived and check their contents against the packing list (if provided) before beginning assembly. Inspect all components for any damage upon arrival. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Before You Begin

• Clear an adequate space for assembly.
• Unpack all components carefully and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching.
• Identify all parts using the provided diagrams (if any).
• Recommendation: Two people are recommended for assembly.

3.2 Assembly Steps

1. Attach Legs: For each sofa section, carefully turn it upside down. Attach the sofa legs to the designated mounting points using the provided screws. Ensure they are tightened securely.
2. Position Sections: Arrange the individual sofa sections in your desired configuration. The modular design allows for various layouts.
3. Connect Sections: Use the included metal connectors (if applicable) to link the adjacent sofa sections. Slide the connectors into place to secure the sections together, preventing them from shifting.
4. Place Cushions and Pillows: Position the seat cushions, back cushions, and throw pillows onto the sofa sections.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Modular Configuration

This sectional sofa features a modular design, allowing you to rearrange the individual sections to fit your living space and needs. Ensure sections are properly connected after any rearrangement.

4.2 Built-in Cup Holders

The sofa includes two built-in cup holders located in one of the armrest sections. These are designed to securely hold beverages, preventing spills.

One of the armrests features a hidden storage compartment. Lift the top of the armrest to access this space, ideal for remote controls, magazines, or other small items.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Fabric Care (Chenille)

• Regular Cleaning: Vacuum the sofa regularly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
• Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For more stubborn stains, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap and water. Test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first.
• General Cleaning: Wipe clean with a dry cloth or a damp cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the chenille fabric.
• Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading.
