  • Frames: Left Frame (A), Right Frame (B), Middle Frame (C), Top Frame (D)
  • Crossbars: Top Cross (E), Bottom Cross (F)
  • Slats: Right Slats (R), Left Slats (L)
  • Boards: Top Board (P), Drawer Base Board (G)
  • Drawers: Big Drawer (K), Small Drawer (N)
  • Hardware: Drawer Handle (6), Screws (2), Screws (4), Expansion Tube (5), Screws (5)

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your DUMOS 9-Drawer Fabric Dresser. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Attach Frames to Top Board: Fix the Right-Left Frames (A & B) to both ends of the Top Board (P). Fix the Top Frame (D) to the middle of the Top Board (P) using Screws (2) * 6. Ensure the drawer holes on Frames (A), (B), and (D) face the same direction.Attaching the side frames and top frame to the wooden top board.

  2. Install Middle Frame: Install the other side of Middle Frame (C) * 1 to the Top Cross (E) * 2 using Screws (2) * 2. Ensure the drawer holes on Frames (A), (B), and (C) face the same direction.Installing the middle frame and crossbars.

  3. Install Top Crossbars: Install Top Cross (E) * 2 to the top of Frames (A, B & D) with Screws (2) * 8.
  4. Install Bottom Crossbars: Install Bottom Cross (F) * 2 to the Frames (A, B & C) with Screws (2) * 6.
  5. Install Adjusting Feet: Install Adjusting Foot (1) * 4 to the Side Frames (A & B).
  6. Assemble Drawer Slats: Assemble the Left Slats (L) * 9 and Right Slats (R) * 9 bars to the frame (A, B & C & D). Tighten screws AFTER Drawer sliders are assembled.Installing the drawer support slats into the frame.

  7. Assemble Drawers: Place Drawer Base Board (G) * 3 into the expanded Small Drawer (N) * 3. Install the Drawer Handle (6) * 3 with Screws (4) * 6. Install the three Small Drawers (N) * 3 in the same way. Repeat for Big Drawers (K) * 6 and Drawer Base Board (H) * 6, installing Drawer Handle (6) * 6 with Screws (4) * 12.Assembling a fabric drawer by inserting the base board and attaching the handle.

  8. Insert Drawers: Put the installed Small Drawers (N) * 3 and Big Drawers (K) * 6 into the frame in turn.Finished dresser with all drawers inserted.

  9. Secure to Wall (Optional but Recommended): If you need to fix the dresser to the wall, drill holes in the wall with an electric drill, then insert Expansion Tube (5) * 2 and fix the dresser with Screws (5) * 2.

Operating Instructions

Using the Drawers

  • To open a drawer, gently pull the handle.
  • To close a drawer, push it back into the frame until it is fully seated.
  • Avoid forcing drawers open or closed to prevent damage to the fabric or frame.
  • Distribute items evenly within the drawers to maintain balance and prevent strain on the drawer slides.

Weight Capacity

The wooden top board has a maximum capacity of 66 pounds. Each fabric drawer has a maximum capacity of 13 pounds. Do not exceed these limits to ensure the longevity and stability of the dresser.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wooden Top: Wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust and spills. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture.
  • Metal Frame: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately to prevent rust.
  • Fabric Drawers: Spot clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Allow to air dry completely. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

General Care

  • Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Tighten as needed.
  • Avoid placing hot items directly on the wooden top. Use coasters or protective pads.
  • Keep the dresser away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity to prevent material degradation.

Troubleshooting
