4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Hanging Clothes
The rack features two hanging rods, providing a total of 148cm (58.2 inches) of hanging space. The rods are spaced 35 cm (13.8 inches) apart vertically to accommodate both long and short garments without crowding.
- Use the upper rod for longer items like dresses and coats.
- Use the lower rod for shorter items such as shirts, blouses, and pants.
- Distribute clothes evenly across both rods to maintain balance and prevent tipping.
4.2 Using Storage Shelves
The three bottom shelves are designed for versatile storage of folded clothes, bags, shoes, hats, and storage bins. The non-woven fabric helps protect items from dust.
- Place heavier items on the lower shelves for better stability.
- Utilize storage bins or baskets on the shelves for organizing smaller items.
4.3 Mobility and Locking Casters
The rack is equipped with four smooth-rolling swivel casters for easy movement. Two of these casters have locking mechanisms.
- To move the rack, ensure both locking casters are in the unlocked position.
- To secure the rack in a stationary position, press down on the locking levers of the two locking casters until they click into place.
- Always unlock the casters before attempting to move the rack to prevent damage to the wheels or flooring.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Metal Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Non-Woven Fabric Shelves: The shelves are washable. They can be removed and rinsed with water, then air-dried completely before re-installation.
5.2 General Care
- Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Avoid placing the rack in direct sunlight or in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations to prolong its lifespan.
- Do not drag the rack when moving; always use the casters.
