1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Steelite electric lawn mower before first use.

Handle Assembly

1. Attach the lower handle to the mower unit using the provided knobs and bolts. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Connect the upper handle to the lower handle, aligning the holes and securing with the remaining knobs and bolts.
3. Route the power cord along the handle and secure it with the cable clips to prevent it from interfering with operation.

Grass Collection Bag Assembly

1. Assemble the two parts of the grass collection bag by snapping them together. Ensure all clips are engaged for a secure fit.
2. Lift the rear discharge flap of the mower and hook the grass bag onto the mower's frame. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent grass clippings from escaping.

Height Adjustment

The mower features a 5-position height adjustment lever to set the cutting height from 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) to 2.56 inches (6.5 cm).

1. Ensure the mower is unplugged before adjusting the cutting height.
2. Locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
3. Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired position. Release the lever to lock it into place. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height.

Starting the Mower

1. Ensure the mower is on a flat, clear surface.
2. Connect the mower's power cord to a suitable outdoor extension cord, ensuring the extension cord is rated for outdoor use and the mower's 1300W power requirement.
3. Plug the extension cord into a grounded outdoor electrical outlet.
4. To start, press and hold the Lock-Off Button (1) on the handle, then squeeze the ON/OFF Trigger (2). Release the lock-off button once the motor starts.
5. To stop, release the ON/OFF Trigger.
