4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The Elitech ANE-200W typically comes with a 9V battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert a new 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery cover securely.
4.2. Attaching the Lanyard
Attach the provided lanyard to the designated loop on the anemometer for secure handling during use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- To power on, press the LED button.
- To power off, press and hold the LED button for approximately 2 seconds.
5.2. Display Functions
The large LCD displays real-time measurements. The display includes:
- Wind Speed: Shown in selected units (m/s, km/h, mph, knots, ft/min, Beaufort).
- Temperature: Displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
- Relative Humidity: Displayed as a percentage.
- Air Volume (CFM/CMM): Calculated and displayed.

5.3. Button Functions

5.5. Bluetooth Connectivity
The Elitech ANE-200W can connect to the Elitech App on iOS and Android devices for enhanced functionality.
- Download the "Elitech App" from your device's app store.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Open the Elitech App and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with the ANE-200W.
- Once connected, you can view real-time data, historical graphs, and export data in CSV format.

5.6. USB Data Export
For detailed analysis and long-term recording, connect the anemometer to a PC via USB.
- Connect the anemometer to your PC using the provided USB cable.
- Visit the Elitech website to download the dedicated PC software for the ANE-200W.
- Install and launch the software.
- Follow the software instructions to read, analyze, and export data. The device can store up to 960 data sets.
