4.4. Waterproof Design

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

The call buttons are powered by 12V batteries. When a button's battery is low, the system may indicate this via the app or reduced performance. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

  • To replace, open the battery compartment on the back of the call button.
  • Remove the old battery and insert a new 12V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Securely close the compartment.

6.2. Cleaning

Wipe the Hub and call buttons with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the device surfaces.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Hub not connecting to Wi-Fi Incorrect Wi-Fi password; Hub too far from router; Router is 5G only; App setup issues. Ensure correct 2.4G Wi-Fi network and password. Move Hub closer to router. Check router settings to ensure 2.4G band is active. Re-attempt app pairing process.
Call button not triggering alert Low or dead battery in button; Button out of range; Button not properly paired (unlikely if pre-paired). Replace button battery. Move button closer to the Hub. If issue persists, try re-pairing the button via the app (refer to app's help section).
No app notifications received Hub offline; Phone notifications disabled; App not running in background; Network issues. Check Hub's Wi-Fi connection status in the app. Ensure app notifications are enabled in your phone's settings. Keep the app running in the background. Verify internet connectivity on your phone.
False alarms from call button Button pressed accidentally; Button placed in a position where it can be easily triggered. Relocate the button to a less prone area. Consider using a protective cover if accidental presses are frequent.
