1. Safety Information

Before operating your Vivi Electric Bike, please read this manual thoroughly. Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear. Regular maintenance is crucial for safe operation.

  • Always wear a certified helmet.
  • Perform a pre-ride inspection before each use.
  • Understand and practice using all operating modes and controls in a safe, open area.
  • Do not operate the bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and other road users.

2. Package Contents

Your Vivi Electric Bike package includes the following components:

  • Vivi Electric Bike (partially assembled)
  • 48V 374.4Wh Removable Lithium-Ion Battery
  • Battery Charger
  • LCD Smart Meter
  • Waterproof Line (for easy accessory replacement)
  • Assembly Tools
  • User Manual

3. Assembly Instructions

The Vivi Electric Bike arrives approximately 90% assembled. The remaining assembly typically involves attaching the pedals, front wheel, and handlebars. A bike pump for tires will also be needed.

3.1. Attaching the Front Wheel

  1. Carefully remove the bike from its packaging.
  2. Align the front wheel with the front fork. Ensure the disc brake rotor slides correctly into the brake caliper.
  3. Secure the front wheel using the quick-release skewer or axle nuts, ensuring it is centered and tight.

3.2. Installing the Handlebars

  1. Insert the handlebar stem into the fork's steerer tube.
  2. Adjust the handlebar height and angle for a comfortable riding position. The handlebars are height and angle adjustable.
  3. Tighten the stem bolts securely. Ensure the handlebars are aligned with the front wheel.

3.3. Attaching the Pedals

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals.
  2. The right pedal (R) threads clockwise into the right crank arm.
  3. The left pedal (L) threads counter-clockwise into the left crank arm.
  4. Tighten both pedals firmly with a wrench.

3.4. Battery Installation and Charging

The 48V 374.4Wh removable battery can be charged on or off the bike.

  1. To install, slide the battery into its compartment on the frame until it clicks securely into place.
  2. To remove, unlock the battery with the key and slide it out.
  3. Connect the charger to the battery and then to a power outlet. The battery fully charges in 4-6 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Vivi Electric Bike features multiple operating modes and a 7-speed transmission system for versatile riding.

4.1. Powering On/Off and LCD Display

  • To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD smart meter. Repeat to power off.
  • The LCD display shows speed, battery level, assist level, and mileage.
  • Long press the meter '+' button to turn on/off the headlight.

4.2. Riding Modes

The bike offers five distinct riding modes:

  1. Pure Electric Mode (Throttle Mode): Engage the throttle to propel the bike without pedaling.
  2. Pedal Assist Mode (PAS Mode): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Select from 5 assist levels using the LCD smart meter.
  3. Normal Bike Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.
  4. Cruise Control Mode: Maintain a set speed without continuous pedaling or throttle input.
  5. Walk Assist Mode: Long press the '-' button for 3 seconds, and the motor will gently assist in pushing the bike at walking speed.

4.3. Gear Shifting

The bike is equipped with a professional 7-speed transmission system. Use the trigger shifter on the handlebars to change gears according to terrain and desired speed. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.

4.4. Braking System

The Vivi Electric Bike features front and rear disc brakes for reliable stopping power in all weather conditions. Squeeze both brake levers simultaneously for balanced and effective braking. The electric motor will cut out when braking for added safety.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your electric bike.

  • Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Ensure tires are inflated to the recommended PSI. Inspect for wear and punctures.
  • Brakes: Regularly check brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers provide firm, responsive stopping power. Adjust as needed.
  • Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.
  • Battery: Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
  • Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially on critical components like wheels, handlebars, and seat post.
  • Waterproof Lines: The bike features a detachable waterproof line design, making it easy to replace accessories or components connected via these lines.
  • Fenders: Ensure fenders are properly aligned and do not rub against the tires. Adjust if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting
