Rear Panel Connections and Controls
The rear panel provides various input and output ports for connecting external devices, along with physical control buttons.

- TV (Antenna) Input: For connecting an external antenna for ATSC digital broadcast reception.
- USB Port: For connecting USB storage devices to play media files.
- Audio (L/R) Input: For analog audio input.
- AV (Video) Input: For composite video input.
- HDMI Input: For high-definition digital audio and video input.
- VGA Input: For connecting a computer.
- DC Power Input: For connecting the provided power adapter.

Setup
1. Attaching the Stand
Carefully place the TV screen face down on a soft, clean surface. Align the stand with the mounting holes on the bottom of the TV and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure the stand is firmly attached before placing the TV upright.
2. Power Connection
- Connect the power cable to the DC Power Input port on the rear of the TV.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable power outlet.
- For RV/car use, the 12V DC input allows compatibility with appropriate power sources.
3. Antenna Connection (for ATSC Channels)
To receive free over-the-air HD channels, connect an external antenna to the TV (Antenna) input port on the rear panel.
- For optimal signal reception, position the antenna near a window or in an elevated area.
- This TV features a built-in ATSC tuner and does not support cable or satellite services like Xfinity/DirecTV.
4. Initial Power On and Channel Scan
- Press the Power button on the TV or remote control to turn on the TV.
- Upon first use, the TV may guide you through an initial setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and perform an automatic channel scan.
- A signal source indicator will appear in the upper-right corner of the TV screen. Switch to TV output to begin normal operation after the scan is complete.
Optional: VESA Wall Mounting
The TV is VESA compatible (75x75mm) for wall mounting. Ensure you use a compatible VESA mount and follow the mount manufacturer's instructions for safe installation.

Operating Instructions
Remote Control Functions
Use the included remote control for convenient access to all TV functions. Point the remote control directly at the TV's infrared sensor.
- Power: Turns the TV on or off.
- Input/Source: Selects input sources (TV, HDMI, USB, AV, VGA).
- Volume +/-: Adjusts the volume level.
- Channel +/-: Changes TV channels.
- Menu: Accesses the main menu for settings adjustments.
- Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigates through menu options.
- OK/Enter: Confirms selections in menus.
- Exit/Back: Exits the current menu or returns to the previous screen.
Menu Navigation and Settings
Press the Menu button on the remote to access the main settings menu. Use the navigation buttons to select categories such as Picture, Sound, Channel, Time, and Setup. Press OK to enter a sub-menu and adjust settings.

- Picture Settings: Adjust brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, and select preset picture modes (e.g., Standard, Dynamic, Movie, Personal).
- Sound Settings: Adjust bass, treble, balance, and select preset sound modes (e.g., Standard, Music, Movie, Personal).
- Channel Settings: Perform auto scan, manual scan, edit channels, and set parental controls.
- Time Settings: Set current time, sleep timer, and auto on/off times.
- Setup: Change language, restore factory defaults, and update software.
USB Media Playback
Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the rear of the TV. Select the USB input source using the Input/Source button on the remote. The TV will display a media browser, allowing you to navigate and play supported video, audio, and image files.
Connectivity
Your Prechen TV offers multiple connectivity options for various devices.
- HDMI: Connect gaming consoles, Blu-ray/DVD players, laptops, or streaming devices for high-definition digital audio and video. Use an HDMI cable to connect the device to the HDMI port on the TV. Select the corresponding HDMI input via the Input/Source button.
- VGA: Connect a computer or laptop using a VGA cable. An audio cable may also be required for sound if your computer does not transmit audio via VGA. Select the VGA input via the Input/Source button.
- AV (Composite Video): Connect older devices such as VCRs or some DVD players using RCA cables (yellow for video, red/white for audio). Connect to the AV input ports on the TV. Select the AV input via the Input/Source button.
- USB: As described in the Operating Instructions, use the USB port for media playback from flash drives.
Maintenance
Cleaning the TV
- Always unplug the TV before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the screen and cabinet.
- For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
Storage
If storing the TV for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for safe storage and transport.
