4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the ice maker for any damage. Ensure all accessories (ice basket, ice scoop) are present.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  3. Refrigerant Settling: After transportation, allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the 'Cleaning and Maintenance' section for detailed instructions.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operation

Follow these steps to operate your Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker:

  1. Add Water: Open the top lid and remove the ice basket. Pour potable water into the water tank up to the 'MAX' fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Replace Basket and Close Lid: Place the ice basket back into position and close the top lid securely.
  3. Start Ice Production: Press the 'On/Off' button on the control panel. The 'Making Ice' indicator light will illuminate.
  4. First Batch: The first cycle of ice production typically takes about 6 minutes. Discard the first few batches of ice to ensure optimal hygiene and taste.
  5. Indicator Lights:
    • Making Ice: Green light indicates the unit is actively making ice.
    • Add Water: Red light indicates the water tank is low and needs refilling. The unit will pause operation until water is added.
    • Ice Full: Green light indicates the ice basket is full. The unit will pause operation until ice is removed.
  6. Continuous Ice Making: The ice maker features an induction infrared sensor. When the ice basket is full, ice production will halt. It will resume automatically approximately 30 minutes after the ice level drops.
  7. Ice Storage: The ice maker does not have a refrigeration function to keep ice frozen. It is recommended to transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage.
Three steps for operating the ice maker: 1. Add water, 2. Press On/Off, 3. Enjoy your ice.
