Safety Information

Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the device and vehicle:

  • Do not use the air pump function continuously for more than 10 minutes. Allow a 10-minute rest period after each 10 minutes of continuous use to prevent overheating.
  • Charge the jump starter fully upon first receipt.

Setup and Charging

Before initial use, fully charge the HPBS 5000A Jump Starter. This ensures optimal performance and extends battery life.

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the jump starter.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
  3. The digital display will indicate the charging status. Charge until the battery indicator shows full.

Note: For best results and to maintain battery health, recharge the unit every 2-3 months, even when not in active use.

Operating Instructions

1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter is at least 75% charged before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.

  1. Connect Smart Jumper Cable: Insert the smart jumper cable into the jump starter's port. Ensure a secure connection.
  2. Connect to Car Battery: Attach the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the car battery. Attach the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the car battery.
  3. Verify Connection: The LED indicator on the smart jumper cable should turn green, indicating a correct and safe connection. If it shows red or beeps, check the connections for polarity or other errors.
  4. Start Vehicle: Once the indicator is green, start your car's engine.
  5. Remove Clamps: After the car starts, immediately remove the jumper clamps from the car battery, then disconnect the smart jumper cable from the jump starter.

2. Using the Tire Inflator (Air Compressor)

The 150 PSI air compressor can inflate tires for cars, motorcycles, bikes, and other inflatables using the included nozzles.

  1. Connect Air Hose: Screw the pump tube securely onto the air outlet port of the jump starter.
  2. Attach Nozzle: Select the appropriate air nozzle for your item (car tire, bike valve, ball needle) and attach it to the pump tube.
  3. Connect to Item: Connect the nozzle to the tire valve or inflatable item.
  4. Power On and Select Mode: Turn on the jump starter. Short press the 'M' button to cycle through inflation modes (Car, Motorcycle, Bicycle, Ball). The display will show the current pressure and target pressure.
  5. Set Target Pressure: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired target pressure. The unit supports PSI, KPA, BAR, and KG/CM².
  6. Start Inflation: Long press the 'OK' button to begin inflation. The compressor will automatically stop once the target pressure is reached.
  7. Disconnect: Disconnect the nozzle and pump tube.
