Setup and Installation

Unboxing

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any tape or protective film. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. It is recommended to let the ice maker stand upright for at least 24 hours before connecting it to power or water. This allows the refrigerant to settle, ensuring optimal performance.

Placement

The Coolake Ice Maker can be installed as a built-in unit under a counter or as a freestanding appliance. Ensure the chosen location has a stable, level surface and is away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Adequate ventilation is crucial; the front-venting design allows for tight integration, but ensure the front grille is not obstructed. While designed for outdoor use, it is recommended to protect the unit from direct exposure to rain and harsh weather conditions.

Water Connection

Connect the ice maker to a potable water supply using the provided water inlet hose. Install the included water filter to reduce impurities and prevent scale buildup, which can affect ice quality and the unit's lifespan. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks. A drain hose must also be connected to a suitable drain point, as the unit requires continuous water drainage during operation.
