Setup
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the guitar and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the instrument for any signs of damage. The package should include the guitar, extra strings, a cleaning cloth, picks, a scratch guard, and an Allen wrench for truss rod adjustments.
2. String Installation and Tuning
The guitar comes with strings pre-installed. For initial setup or string replacement, refer to standard guitar stringing procedures. The 18:1 ratio tuning gears provide precise tuning. Use the built-in tuner (see Operating Instructions) or an external tuner to tune the guitar to standard pitch (E-A-D-G-B-e).
3. Battery Installation for Pickups
The built-in pickup system requires a battery. Locate the battery compartment, typically inside the soundhole or near the output jack. Install the required battery type, ensuring correct polarity. This powers the EQ and tuner functions when the guitar is plugged in.
Operating Instructions
1. Acoustic Playback
The RISING-G2 guitar can be played acoustically. Its carbon fiber top and mahogany body are designed to produce a balanced tone. The ergonomic body shape provides comfortable playability.

2. Using the Built-in Pickup System
To use the electric features, connect a standard 1/4-inch guitar cable from the output jack (located at the end strap button) to an acoustic amplifier, mixer, or PA system. The guitar features a built-in 2-Band EQ, Phase Switch, and Tuner.
- 2-Band EQ: Adjust the "Bass" and "Treble" knobs to shape your amplified tone.
- Phase Switch: Use this switch to help reduce feedback, especially in live performance settings. Experiment with both positions to find the optimal sound.
- Built-in Tuner: Activate the tuner to check and adjust your guitar's tuning. The display will guide you to the correct pitch.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe down the guitar after each use with a soft, dry cleaning cloth (one is included). For deeper cleaning, use a guitar-specific cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
2. String Replacement
Replace strings regularly to maintain optimal tone and playability. The guitar uses Phosphor Bronze strings. When replacing, change one string at a time to maintain neck tension. The 18:1 ratio gears ensure smooth tuning after replacement.
3. Truss Rod Adjustment
The neck of the guitar contains a truss rod that can be adjusted to correct excessive neck relief or back-bow. If you experience issues with string action or buzzing, a truss rod adjustment may be necessary. Use the provided Allen wrench. It is recommended that this adjustment be performed by an experienced technician if you are unfamiliar with the process.
4. Environmental Care
While the carbon fiber top offers durability and stability, store the guitar in a stable environment, away from extreme temperature fluctuations and high humidity, to preserve the mahogany components and overall integrity of the instrument.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No Sound When Plugged In | Dead or incorrectly installed battery; faulty cable; amplifier off. | Check and replace battery; ensure cable is fully inserted and functional; verify amplifier power and settings. |
| Poor Sound Quality / Feedback | Incorrect EQ settings; phase issue; proximity to amplifier. | Adjust Bass/Treble on EQ; toggle Phase Switch; increase distance from amplifier. |
| Difficulty Staying in Tune | Old strings; improper string winding; environmental changes. | Replace strings; ensure strings are properly wound around tuning posts; allow guitar to acclimate to environment. |
| String Buzzing | Low string action; uneven frets; neck relief issues. | Check neck relief and adjust truss rod (consult a technician if unsure); inspect frets for wear. |
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support or a qualified guitar technician.
