1. Product Overview

The Home Pilot RolloTron Pure DECT Electric Belt Winder is designed to automate your roller shutters, offering convenience and energy efficiency. This device integrates seamlessly into an AVM Smart Home system via a FRITZ!Box (from software version FRITZ!OS 7.20) and can be controlled manually, via app, or other FRITZ!DECT devices. This set includes the electric belt winder and a 6-meter long, 23 mm wide grey webbing for replacement.

2. Setup and Installation

The RolloTron Pure DECT is designed for easy installation, replacing your existing manual belt winder. It is suitable for roller shutters up to 6 m² and requires a 23 mm belt width.

2.1 Replacing the Webbing

If your current webbing is dirty or worn, it is recommended to replace it during the installation of the electric winder. Note that replacing the webbing requires opening your roller shutter box.

2.2 Installing the RolloTron Pure DECT

1. Remove the old winder: Carefully remove your existing manual belt winder from its mounting position.
2. Insert the webbing: Feed the roller shutter webbing into the RolloTron device.
3. Attach the webbing: Secure the webbing to the fastening hook inside the device.
4. Mount the device: Insert the RolloTron into the existing belt box, screw it firmly into place, and connect the power plug.

2.3 Integration with AVM Smart Home (FRITZ!Box)

The RolloTron Pure DECT can be easily integrated into your AVM Smart Home system. Ensure your FRITZ!Box has software version FRITZ!OS 7.20 or higher. Follow the instructions provided with your FRITZ!Box for adding new DECT devices.

3. Operating Instructions

The RolloTron Pure DECT offers multiple ways to control your roller shutters.

3.1 Manual Operation

You can operate the roller shutters directly using the buttons on the device itself. Typically, there are 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to control the movement of the shutter.

3.2 Smart Operation via FRITZ!App Smart Home

For advanced control and automation, use the FRITZ!App Smart Home on your mobile device. This app allows you to:

• Create individual schedules for automatic opening and closing.
• Control the belt winder remotely from anywhere via the internet.
• Utilize the Astro function for sunrise/sunset-dependent control.
• Synchronize schedules with your Google Calendar.

3.3 Control with FRITZ!DECT Devices

The RolloTron Pure DECT can also be controlled using other FRITZ!DECT devices:

• FRITZ!Fon C5 and C6 phones: Use these phones to manage your smart home devices.
• FRITZ!DECT 400 and 440 wireless buttons: These buttons can be configured to control your roller shutters with a simple press.

4. Maintenance

The RolloTron Pure DECT is designed for low maintenance. The primary maintenance task is the replacement of the roller shutter webbing if it becomes worn or dirty over time. Refer to Section 2.1 for instructions on webbing replacement.

Keep the device clean by wiping it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your RolloTron Pure DECT, consider the following:

• Device not responding: Check if the device is properly plugged into a power outlet. Ensure there are no power interruptions.
• Roller shutter not moving: Verify that the webbing is correctly installed and not jammed. Check for any physical obstructions to the roller shutter's movement.
• App control issues: Ensure your FRITZ!Box is powered on and connected to the internet. Check the FRITZ!App Smart Home for any error messages or connection issues. Make sure the FRITZ!Box software is up to date (FRITZ!OS 7.20 or higher).
• DECT connection problems: If the device is not communicating with your FRITZ!Box, try re-pairing the device according to your FRITZ!Box instructions. Ensure the device is within range of the FRITZ!Box.
