Initial Pairing
The remote control outlets and remotes are pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed or if you wish to customize your control setup, follow these steps:
- Plug the remote control outlet receiver into an electrical wall outlet. The indicator light on the receiver will turn on.
- Within 29 seconds of plugging in the receiver, press the ON or OFF button on the desired remote control transmitter.
- The indicator light on the receiver will blink once to confirm successful pairing.
Note: Multiple outlets (receivers) can be paired to one remote, and multiple remotes can be paired to one outlet.

Unpairing
To unpair a remote from an outlet:
- Unplug the remote control outlet receiver from the wall outlet.
- Press and hold the ON button on the remote control transmitter.
- While still holding the ON button, plug the remote control outlet receiver back into the wall outlet.
- Continue holding the ON button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light on the receiver blinks rapidly, then release. This indicates successful unpairing.
Installation Considerations
- Indoor Use: Plug the remote control outlet into any standard 3-prong wall outlet.
- Outdoor Use:
- Always plug into a GFCI approved outlet.
- Hang the outlet with the plug facing downwards to prevent water entry.
- Ensure the connected appliance is also suitable for outdoor use.

Once the remote control outlet is plugged in and paired with its remote, operation is straightforward:

- Press the OFF button on the remote control transmitter to turn off the connected appliance or light.
The remote can control the outlet from a distance of up to 30 meters (98.4 feet) in open areas, allowing for convenient control of hard-to-reach outlets or outdoor lighting from indoors or a vehicle.
