4. Setup & Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation Check

  • Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected before starting installation.
  • Remove the original car radio from the dashboard.

4.2 Wiring Connections

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

After installation, reconnect the battery and turn on the vehicle's ignition. The stereo should power on automatically. Use the 7-inch touchscreen for all operations.

5.2 Bluetooth Connection

Connect your smartphone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming.

  1. On the car stereo, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "CarBT" (or similar device name) from the list on your phone.
  4. Enter the PIN (default is 0000) if prompted.
  5. Once connected, the stereo will display "phone audio, music audio" indicating a successful connection. If not, restart Bluetooth on both devices.

5.3 CarPlay & Android Auto (ZLINK)

The stereo supports both wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto via the ZLINK application.

  2. Select Factory Settings, then enter the password 8888.
  3. Navigate to Protocol Parameter Settings.
  4. Select Reverse video resolution settings.
  5. Choose the correct setting based on your camera type: For the OEM camera, choose NTSC/PAL. For the included camera, keep the default AHD/25.
