Setup

1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the robot vacuum, base station, and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Position the Base Station: Place the base station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there is sufficient space around it for the robot to maneuver (at least 0.5m on either side and 1.5m in front). Plug the power cord into the base station and a wall outlet.
3. Install Mop Pads: Attach the mop pads to the mop pad holders on the underside of the robot. They are magnetically mounted.
4. Fill Solution Tanks: Open the top cover of the base station. Fill the clean water tank with water and the appropriate cleaning solution (e.g., multi-surface floor cleaner or pet odor solution).
5. Insert Dust Bag: Ensure a dust bag is correctly installed in the dust disposal compartment of the base station.

Operating Instructions

Initial Mapping

Before the first cleaning, allow the robot to complete an initial mapping run of your home. This helps it create an efficient cleaning path and identify obstacles.

Using the DREAME Home App

The DREAME Home app provides comprehensive control over your robot vacuum:

• Start/Pause Cleaning: Initiate or pause cleaning cycles.
• Select Cleaning Modes: Choose between vacuum-only, mop-only, vacuum & mop, or mop after vacuum modes.
• Adjust Suction Power: Select from Quiet, Standard, Intense, or Max suction levels.
• Customize Cleaning: Set no-go zones, virtual walls, specific room cleaning, and carpet modes (e.g., auto-remove mops, increased suction, vacuuming twice).
• Schedule Cleaning: Set recurring cleaning schedules.

Obstacle Avoidance

Maintenance

Top of the Vacuum

• Wipe down the top cover as needed with a microfiber cloth.
• Inspect the bumper for any obstructions and ensure it moves freely.
• Remove the top cover to access the dustbin.
• Remove the dustbin and detach the filter. Both the dustbin and filter are washable. Follow the care instructions on the dustbin. Allow 24 hours to dry.

Side of the Vacuum

• Wipe down the front sensors (Stereo-Vision) with a microfiber cloth to ensure they are free from hair or dust.
• Clean the auto-empty port on the side if any debris accumulates.
• Wipe down the back charging contacts and water passage area.
• Clean the side sensor with a microfiber cloth.

Underside of the Vacuum

• Wipe down the cliff sensors to prevent accidental falls.
• The side brush is removable with a Phillips head screwdriver for replacement.
• The main brush roller system is removable and washable. Detangle any hair as needed. Allow plenty of time to dry.
• Mop pads are magnetically removable and can be machine washed or replaced when worn out.
• Wipe down the area under the mop pads to ensure proper operation of the MopExtend feature.
• For the omnidirectional wheel, the manual indicates the tire can be removed from the axle. If tangles occur, carefully cut away hair with a razor blade.

Troubleshooting: Factory Reset

If you encounter persistent issues, a factory reset can restore the device to its original settings. This is a full reset, not a simple power cycle.

1. Ensure the robot vacuum is powered on and sufficiently charged.
2. Remove the top cover of the robot.
3. Locate the small blue light next to the reset icon (a circular arrow) and Wi-Fi icon.
4. Using a small tool (like a SIM removal tool), press and hold the button associated with the blue light for approximately 3 to 5 seconds.
5. Release the button when you hear a voice prompt indicating "Restoring to factory settings" or when the light changes.
6. The robot will shut down and then boot back up, playing startup music and initial voice prompts. The blue light will blink during this process and then become solid.
7. Once the process is complete, the robot is factory reset and ready for re-setup via the DREAME Home app.
