Operating Instructions
The ice maker operates automatically once installed and connected to a water supply. It will produce ice until the ice bucket is full, at which point the sensor arm will stop production. When ice is removed, the sensor arm will drop, and ice production will resume.
- Ensure the water supply to the refrigerator is turned on.
- Keep the ice bucket properly positioned for ice collection.
- Do not obstruct the sensor arm, as this will prevent ice production.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure consistent ice production and extends the life of your ice maker.
- Cleaning: Periodically remove the ice bucket and wash it with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before returning it to the freezer.
- Ice Maker Unit: If necessary, wipe down the exterior of the ice maker unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray water directly onto the unit.
- Water Filter: Ensure your refrigerator's water filter is replaced according to the manufacturer's recommendations to maintain water quality and prevent mineral buildup in the ice maker.
