5. Operating Instructions
The VITILAN V3 offers multiple riding modes and features for a versatile experience.
5.1 Powering On/Off and Display
Press and hold the power button on the LCD display to turn the bike on or off. The intelligent LCD display provides real-time information including battery level, current speed, mileage, and selected riding mode.

Below the image, icons illustrate features like PAS levels, battery indicator, speed, headlight, mileage, and riding modes.
5.2 Riding Modes
The VITILAN V3 supports several riding modes:
Pure Electric Mode: Engages the motor via the throttle for propulsion without pedaling.
Pedal Assist System (PAS) Mode: Provides electric assistance as you pedal. There are 5 levels of assistance, adjustable via the display controls. This mode allows for a range of 60-80 km on a flat road.
Cruise Control Mode: Maintains a set speed without continuous throttle input.
Pedal Mode: Operates as a traditional bicycle without electric assistance.
Walk Mode: Provides low-speed assistance to help push the bike when walking alongside it.

An overlay lists the bike's riding modes: Pure Electric Mode (throttle only), PAS Mode (1-5 levels), Cruise Mode (uniform ride), Pedal Mode (like a normal bicycle), and Walk Mode (easy to push).
5.3 Gear Shifting
The VITILAN V3 is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebars to change gears, allowing you to adapt to different terrains and optimize pedaling efficiency.
5.4 Braking System
The bike features hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Always apply both brakes smoothly and evenly. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds or on loose surfaces.
5.5 All-Terrain Capability
The 20"x4.0" CST all-terrain fat tires provide excellent grip and stability on various surfaces, including urban roads, beaches, sand, and snow. The front suspension fork enhances comfort on uneven terrain.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the safety and longevity of your VITILAN V3 electric bike.
Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
Lubrication: Keep the chain, gears, and other moving parts lubricated.
Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. The 20"x4.0" CST tires are designed for durability.
Brakes: Inspect brake pads for wear and adjust brake cables as needed. Hydraulic disc brakes require specific maintenance; consult a bike mechanic if unsure.
Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Charge it regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health. Avoid fully discharging the battery.
Frame: The 6061 aluminum alloy frame is lightweight and resistant to corrosion. Regularly inspect for any signs of damage.
Image: A visual comparison highlighting the VITILAN V3's 6061 aluminum alloy frame against a generic carbon steel frame. The VITILAN frame is described as 10mm thick, lightweight (64 lbs), durable (anti-fracture), corrosion-resistant, and long-lasting (10+ years). The carbon steel frame is depicted as thinner (5mm), heavier (75 lbs), vulnerable to breakage, prone to rust and corrosion, and less durable (1-2 years).

7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your VITILAN V3 electric bike.
Bike not powering on: Check if the battery is fully charged and properly seated/locked. Ensure the power button on the display is pressed and held.
Motor not assisting: Verify that the PAS level is not set to 0. Check battery charge. Ensure all electrical connections are secure.
Brakes feel weak: Inspect brake pads for wear. Check brake fluid levels for hydraulic brakes. Adjust brake levers if necessary.
Unusual noises: Inspect the chain, gears, and wheels for any obstructions or loose components. Lubricate the chain if it sounds dry.
Reduced range: This can be due to low tire pressure, riding against strong headwinds, frequent use of high PAS levels, or an aging battery. Ensure proper tire inflation and consider lower PAS levels for extended range.
