  3. Placement: Place the dehydrator on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for adequate airflow. Ensure the power cord can reach a grounded electrical outlet.

The dual-zone design allows for simultaneous dehydration of different foods.

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Slice food evenly and pat dry for best results. Arrange food in a single layer on the trays, ensuring space for airflow.
  2. Load Trays: Open the French doors and slide the loaded trays into the desired chamber. Close the doors securely.
  3. Power On: Plug the dehydrator into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Press the power button for the desired zone (left or right).
  4. Set Temperature: Use the 'Temp' buttons (+/-) for each zone to set the desired drying temperature. The temperature range is 95-176°F (35-80°C).
  5. Set Timer: Use the 'Time' buttons (+/-) for each zone to set the desired drying time. The timer can be set for up to 48 hours.
  6. Start Dehydration: Press the 'Start/Stop' button for each zone to begin the drying process. The display will show the remaining time and current temperature.
  7. Keep Warm Mode: After the set drying time completes, the dehydrator automatically switches to a 'Keep Warm' mode, maintaining a low temperature to prevent re-absorption of moisture. This feature ensures your food stays ready until you are.
  8. Interior Light: The dehydrator is equipped with an interior light, allowing you to monitor the drying progress without opening the doors, thus maintaining consistent internal temperature.
  9. Monitoring: The rear-mounted fan system provides 360° horizontal airflow, eliminating the need to rotate trays during the drying cycle.
  10. Completion: Once the timer reaches zero, the unit will beep and enter 'Keep Warm' mode. Press 'Start/Stop' to turn off the zone, then unplug the unit.
