Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your VyKure Portable Carplay Screen 801CP. This device integrates wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5K dash camera, a 1080p backup camera, GPS navigation, voice control, and mirror link capabilities to enhance your driving experience.

Setup

1. Mounting the Screen

The device comes with two types of mounting brackets: an extendable suction cup bracket and a self-adhesive bracket. Choose the option that best suits your vehicle and preference for secure attachment to your dashboard or windshield.

• Suction Cup Mount: Clean the desired area on your windshield or dashboard. Press the suction cup firmly against the surface and engage the lever to create a vacuum seal. Adjust the arm and screen angle as needed.
• Adhesive Mount: Clean and dry the desired dashboard surface. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive base and firmly press it onto the dashboard. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to bond before attaching the screen.

2. Power Connection

Connect the provided cigarette lighter power cable to the device and plug it into your car's cigarette lighter socket. The device will power on automatically.

3. Backup Camera Installation

The 1080p waterproof rear camera provides clear rearview and parking assistance. Connect the backup camera cable to the designated AV IN port on the main unit. For automatic activation when reversing, connect the camera's positive lead to your vehicle's reversing light power source. Route the cable carefully to avoid interference.

4. Wireless CarPlay Connection

1. On the device screen, tap the "CarPlay" icon.
2. On your iPhone, enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
3. Go to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and select the device named "F900_XXXX". Confirm pairing.
4. Once connected, CarPlay will launch automatically on the screen.

5. Wireless Android Auto Connection

1. On the device screen, tap the "Android Auto" icon.
2. On your Android phone, enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
3. Go to your Android phone's Bluetooth settings and select the device named "F900_XXXX". Confirm pairing.
4. Once connected, Android Auto will launch automatically on the screen.

6. Mirror Link Setup

The device supports both iOS and Android Mirror Link for screen mirroring.

• iOS Mirror Link (AirPlay):
  1. On the device, tap the "AirPlay" icon.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to the network starting with "F900_XXXX". The default password is "12345678".
  3. Swipe down from the top-right (or up from the bottom for older models) to access Control Center, then tap "Screen Mirroring" and select "F900_XXXX".
• Android Mirror Link (Miracast):
  1. On the device, tap the "Miracast" icon.
  2. On your Android phone, open the system Settings screen and find "More connections" or "Cast".
  3. Wait for Miracast to scan and then select "F900_XXXX" to connect.

Operating Instructions

1. Touchscreen Navigation

The 9-inch HD touchscreen is responsive to touch gestures. Swipe left/right to navigate between app pages, tap icons to open applications, and use the home button to return to the main menu.

2. CarPlay and Android Auto Functions

Once connected, you can access various features directly from the screen:

• Phone: Make and receive calls hands-free.
• Music: Stream music from your phone's apps.
• Maps: Utilize navigation apps like Google Maps or Waze for real-time directions.
• Messages: Send and receive messages using voice commands.

3. Voice Control (Siri/Google Assistant)

Activate your phone's voice assistant (Siri for iOS, Google Assistant for Android) by saying the wake word or pressing the voice control button on the screen. Use voice commands for navigation, calls, music playback, and more.

4. Dash Cam Operation

The device features a 5K HD front camera and a 1080p waterproof rear camera for dual-screen loop recording. The included 64GB TF card stores recordings. Access dash cam footage and settings through the dedicated camera icon on the main menu.

• Loop Recording: The camera continuously records, overwriting the oldest files when the TF card is full.
• Emergency Recording: Built-in sensors detect sudden impacts and automatically lock the current recording to prevent it from being overwritten.

5. Audio Output Options

The device offers multiple ways to output audio to your car's sound system:

• Built-in Speaker: For direct audio output from the device.
• Bluetooth Audio: Connect to your car's Bluetooth system for wireless audio streaming.
• FM Transmitter: Tune your car's FM radio to a specific frequency to receive audio from the device.
• AUX Connection: Use the provided AUX cable to connect the device to your car's AUX input for a wired, lossless audio experience.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• TF Card Management: Regularly format the included 64GB TF card to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important footage before formatting.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your device, refer to the following common solutions:

• Device Not Powering On: Ensure the cigarette lighter power cable is securely connected and the car's power outlet is functioning. Check the vehicle's fuse for the power outlet.
• No CarPlay/Android Auto Connection: Verify that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone and the device. Ensure your phone is within range and correctly paired. Try restarting both the device and your phone.
• Poor Audio Quality: If using FM transmission, try a different FM frequency to avoid interference. For AUX connection, ensure the cable is fully inserted and undamaged.
• Dash Cam Recording Issues: Ensure the TF card is properly inserted and formatted. Check if the card is full; if so, format it after backing up data.
• Screen Display Problems: If the screen is unresponsive or shows artifacts, try restarting the device. Ensure the power supply is stable.
