1. Setup

1.1 What's in the Box

1.2 Installation

The KYEKIO Rechargeable Ceiling Light offers flexible installation options due to its magnetic design.

1. Magnetic Surface Attachment: If installing on a metal surface, the light can be directly attached using its built-in magnets.
2. Non-Magnetic Surface Attachment: For non-metal surfaces, use the included adhesive metal plates. Clean the desired installation area thoroughly. Remove the protective backing from an adhesive metal plate and firmly press it onto the surface. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to set (typically 24 hours) before attaching the light. Once the plate is secure, align the light's magnets with the plate and attach it.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Powering On/Off and Charging

The light is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. It arrives with a partial charge and can be fully charged using the provided USB-C cable.

• Charging: Connect the USB-C cable to the light's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The light features an electricity consumption display to indicate battery level.
• Battery Life: Battery life varies depending on the selected mode and brightness. In sensor modes, it can last for weeks on a single charge.

2.2 Motion Sensor Modes

The light features a highly responsive motion sensor with an effective range of approximately 10 feet. It offers three operational modes:

• Daylight-Sensing Mode: The light activates only when motion is detected in low-light conditions during the day.
• Nighttime-Sensing Mode: The light activates only when motion is detected in dark conditions.
• Constant-On Mode: The light remains continuously on, regardless of motion or ambient light conditions.

2.3 Color Temperature and Brightness Adjustment

The LED ceiling light provides customizable illumination:

• Color Temperatures: Choose from three color temperature options: 3000K (warm white), 4000K (natural white), and 5000K (cool white).
• Dimmable: The light supports stepless dimming, allowing for seamless adjustment of brightness levels to suit your preference.

2.4 Remote Control Usage

The included remote control provides convenient access to all light functions from a distance of up to 30 feet.

• Mode Selection: Switch between daylight-sensing, nighttime-sensing, and constant-on modes.
• Color Temperature Adjustment: Cycle through the three available color temperatures.
• Brightness Control: Increase or decrease the light's intensity.
• Timer Settings: Set a timer for the light to automatically turn off after a specified duration.

3. Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the light, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
• Battery Care: For optimal battery longevity, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the light when the battery indicator shows low power. If storing the light for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and recharge every few months.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Common Issues and Solutions

• Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the light to a USB-C charger.
  • Check the selected mode. If in a sensor mode, ensure ambient light conditions and motion are appropriate for activation.
• Motion sensor not working or light stays on indefinitely:
  • Verify the sensor is not obstructed.
  • Ensure the light is not in Constant-On mode.
  • If the light remains on in motion-sensing modes, try resetting the device by fully discharging and then recharging it, or by cycling through modes using the remote.
  • Ensure the ambient light is sufficient for daylight-sensing mode or dark enough for nighttime-sensing mode, as the sensor relies on these conditions.
• Remote control not responding:
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light.
  • Check the remote control's battery and replace if necessary.
