3. Product Overview

The ECOGREAT IEE SP5000 is a high-capacity portable power station designed for home backup, outdoor activities, camping, RV use, and emergency situations. It features a 5120Wh LiFePO4 battery, 5000W AC output (9000W peak), and supports 120V/240V dual voltage output.

4. Setup

The ECOGREAT IEE SP5000 Power Station is designed with a modular, stackable system for easy assembly and capacity expansion.

Assembly of Modular System

  1. Place the SP5000 Battery modules on a stable, flat surface. The system is designed to be stackable.
  2. Carefully place the 5kW bi-directional inverter on top of the stacked battery modules, ensuring it aligns correctly with the connection points.
  3. Lock both sides of the inverter to the battery modules to secure the connection and prevent accidental dislodgement.
  4. Once assembled, ensure all power switches are in the OFF position before connecting any devices or power sources.

Capacity Expansion

The SP5000 system offers expandable capacity. You can add additional 2560Wh battery modules to increase the total energy storage. A 5kWh device can provide basic electricity for essential items for 3 days during a power outage.

5. Operating Instructions

Charging Methods

The IEE SP5000 Power Station supports multiple charging methods to ensure you always have power:

  • AC Charging: Connect the provided 120V or 240V AC charging cable to a wall outlet. The SP5000 features 3500W fast charging, allowing it to charge from 0% to 100% in approximately 1.5 hours.
  • Solar Charging: Connect the solar charging cable to compatible solar panels (4x200W panels included). The unit supports up to 1000W solar input.
  • Car Charging: Use the car charging cable to charge the power station from your vehicle's 12V outlet.
  • Generator/EV Charging Station: The unit can also be charged using a generator or an electric vehicle charging station.

AC Output (120V/240V)

The IEE SP5000 provides a robust 5000W AC output (9000W peak) with dual voltage support (120V/240V), capable of powering a wide range of appliances, including high-power devices like 2-ton central air conditioners.

App Control

Download the IEE application on your smartphone to effortlessly pair and control the portable power station. The app allows you to monitor power usage, battery status, and execute remote commands with ease.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (EPS)

Equipped with an EPS uninterruptible power supply, the SP5000 automatically switches to the built-in battery power supply within 5-8 milliseconds during a power outage or interruption. This ensures your critical equipment remains operational without interruption, perfect for home emergencies, network equipment, and outdoor tasks.

Electric Vehicle Charging

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ECOGREAT IEE SP5000 Power Station.

LiFePO4 Battery Care

The power station utilizes durable and stable LiFePO4 batteries, supported by an advanced eight-layer safety BMS. These batteries offer up to 4000 charge and discharge cycles, ensuring a service life of up to 25 years while retaining around 80% of their original capacity.

  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50-80% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
  • Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the power station. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ECOGREAT IEE SP5000 Power Station, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power Output:
    • Ensure the power station is turned ON and the AC/DC output buttons are activated.
    • Check the battery level on the display. If low, recharge the unit.
    • Verify that the connected appliance is within the power station's output limits (5000W continuous, 9000W peak).
  • Charging Issue:
    • Confirm that the charging cable is securely connected to both the power station and the power source.
    • Ensure the power source (wall outlet, solar panel, car charger) is functional.
    • Check the charging indicator on the display.
  • Overload Protection:
    • If an overload occurs, the unit will automatically shut down. Disconnect the overloaded appliance, wait a few minutes, and then restart the power station.
