1. Introduction

The ATOTO P6 is a portable Android smart hub designed to integrate advanced features into your vehicle. It provides access to online content, monitors vehicle data, and offers a range of functionalities including wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your ATOTO P6 device.

3. Setup

3.1 Mounting the Device

The ATOTO P6 comes with a solid metal dashboard mount designed for secure installation. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive.

1. Select a suitable location on your dashboard that does not obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle controls.
2. Attach the holder adapter to the back of the P6 display.
3. Connect the metal mount to the holder adapter. The mount features a flexible arm and a 360° ball head for optimal positioning.
4. Peel the protective film from the ultra-strong adhesive on the base of the mount and firmly press it onto the chosen dashboard location. Hold for several seconds to ensure a strong bond.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the P6 to your vehicle's power supply using the provided car charger.

1. Insert the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
2. Connect the power cable from the car charger to the P6 display. The car charger also provides PD fast charging for other devices and routes AUX audio return.
3. Route the cables neatly to avoid obstruction and ensure safety while driving. Use the included zip ties if necessary.

3.3 Initial Device Pairing

To use Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, you need to pair your smartphone with the P6 via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

1. Turn on the ATOTO P6.
2. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices on your phone and select the ATOTO P6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing.
4. Once Bluetooth is connected, the P6 will prompt you to connect to its Wi-Fi hotspot for Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto functionality. Accept the connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

The ATOTO P6 features a responsive touchscreen interface. Navigate through menus and applications by tapping, swiping, and pinching. Voice control is also available for hands-free operation.

4.2 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

After initial pairing, your smartphone should automatically connect to the P6 for Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto when the device is powered on. This allows you to access navigation, music, calls, and messages directly from the P6 display.

4.3 DVR Camera Functionality

The integrated 2-in-1 camera records both the road ahead and the cabin interior. This feature is useful for capturing driving footage and monitoring passengers.

• Switching Views: You can easily switch between front and cabin camera views on the display.
• G-Sensor: The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and automatically locks the current recording to prevent it from being overwritten.
• Loop Recording: The camera continuously records, overwriting the oldest files when the storage card is full (a micro SD card, up to 256GB, is required and not included).

4.4 Parking Monitor

The P6 offers a parking monitoring feature, which records events when the vehicle is parked. This requires the optional AutoNap accessory (not included).

• When enabled with AutoNap, the system can detect and record collisions, break-ins, or vandalism while your vehicle is unattended.
• AutoNap ensures parking monitoring without draining your car battery or requiring complex hardwiring.

4.5 Display Settings

The 10.25" QLED display provides a clear and vibrant visual experience. The P6 features an intelligent auto-brightness function.

• Auto-Brightness: A built-in light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light conditions, ensuring optimal visibility during day and night driving, and smooth transitions through tunnels.
• QLED Clarity: The QLED panel delivers true-to-life colors and sharp details with reduced glare.

4.6 Audio Output Options

The ATOTO P6 offers several ways to output audio:

• Bluetooth: Connect to your car's existing Bluetooth system for audio playback.
• FM Transmitter: Transmit audio to your car's FM radio by tuning both devices to the same frequency.
• AUX Connection: Use the provided AUX cable to connect the P6 to your car's AUX input for a wired audio connection.
• Built-in Speaker: The P6 has a small built-in speaker for basic audio output.

4.7 Internet Access

The P6 can access the internet for online content and updates.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Software Updates

The ATOTO P6 receives Over-the-Air (OTA) updates to improve performance, fix bugs, and introduce new features. Ensure your device is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or USB tethering to receive these updates.

1. When an update is available, a notification will appear on the screen.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update. Ensure the device has sufficient power during the update process.

5.2 Cleaning

To maintain the clarity and responsiveness of the QLED screen:

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen.
• For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the screen.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your ATOTO P6.

6.1 Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto)

If you experience frequent disconnections or difficulty connecting:

• Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled and functioning correctly.
• Try forgetting the P6 device in your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings, then re-pair from scratch.
• Avoid manually switching Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections on your phone while the P6 is attempting to connect, as this can interfere with the automatic pairing process.
• Restart both your smartphone and the ATOTO P6.

6.2 GPS Slow to Acquire Position

If the GPS takes a long time to locate your current position:

• Ensure the P6 has a clear view of the sky. Obstructions can affect GPS signal reception.
• Verify that your smartphone's GPS is active and providing location data to the P6.
• Allow a few minutes after starting the vehicle for the GPS to fully acquire a signal, especially after the device has been off for an extended period.

6.3 Mounting Stability Issues

If the device mount is not holding securely:

• Ensure the dashboard surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of dust, oils, or dashboard protectants before applying the adhesive.
• Apply firm, sustained pressure to the mount for at least 30 seconds during installation.
• Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours (preferably 24 hours) before attaching the display unit, especially in varying temperatures.
• Consider alternative mounting locations if the current surface is unsuitable (e.g., highly textured or curved).
