4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Initial Preparation
- Remove Protective Film: Carefully peel off any protective films from the lenses and the screen before operating the device.
- Format SD Card: The included 64GB MicroSD card is pre-installed. For first-time use or if using a new card (supports up to 128GB, Class 10 U3 speed required), format it within the dash cam's settings.
- Power Source: The G58 dash cam must be powered by the original car charger. Do not use USB or Type-C cables for power. Keep the dash cam connected to the power source during use due to its small internal battery.

- Rear Camera: Install the rear camera at the back of your vehicle, typically on the rear windshield. Connect it to the main unit using the provided extension cable. The rear camera is also 360° adjustable.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Basic Recording
Once connected to the car charger, the dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the engine starts. It will power off automatically when the engine is turned off.
5.2 Loop Recording
The dash cam records continuously in segments. When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest recorded video files will be automatically overwritten to ensure seamless loop recording without missing seconds.
5.3 G-Sensor (Impact Detection)
In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-Sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current 10-second video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
5.4 Night Vision
The G58 dash cam utilizes an F1.55 aperture, 6 lenses, infrared LEDs (accessible via 'Flash' in the menu), and WDR technology to deliver clear and balanced footage in low-light or high-contrast environments.
5.5 GPS Functionality
The integrated GPS module accurately records your vehicle's location, speed, and travel route in real-time. This data is displayed on the dash cam screen and can be viewed on your phone via the "Viidure" app.
