The VOPLLS Smart Mini Projector is designed for versatile home cinema and entertainment experiences, featuring native 1080P resolution, automatic focus and keystone correction, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

2. Safety Information

  • Power Supply: Use only the specified power adapter. Ensure the voltage is compatible with your region.
  • Ventilation: Do not block ventilation openings. Ensure adequate airflow around the projector to prevent overheating.
  • Heat: The projector lamp generates heat. Avoid touching the lens or vents during or immediately after operation.
  • Light Exposure: Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on, as the intense light can cause eye damage.
  • Placement: Place the projector on a stable, level surface. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in humid/dusty environments.
  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
  • Children: Keep the projector and its accessories out of reach of children.

4.1. Controls and Ports

Familiarize yourself with the projector's physical features:

  • Lens: Main projection lens.
  • Power Button: To turn the projector on/off.
  • HDMI Port: For connecting external video sources (e.g., laptop, gaming console).
  • USB Port: For connecting USB storage devices.
  • Audio Out: 3.5mm jack for external speakers or headphones.

5. Setup

5.1. Placement

Choose a suitable location for your projector. For optimal viewing, place the projector on a stable surface, perpendicular to the projection screen or wall. The recommended projection distance is between 1.2 meters and 5 meters.

5.2. Adjustable Stand

The projector features a 360° rotatable stand, allowing for flexible projection angles, including ceiling projection. Adjust the stand to achieve your desired viewing position.

5.3. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC In port on the projector.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Automatic Features

The VOPLLS Smart Mini Projector is equipped with advanced automatic features for quick setup:

  • Auto Focus: The projector automatically adjusts the image clarity within approximately 5 seconds of power-on or movement.
  • Auto Keystone Correction: The projector automatically corrects image distortion (trapezoid effect) to ensure a rectangular display.
  • Automatic Obstacle Avoidance: The projector can detect and adjust the image to avoid obstacles in the projection path.
  • Automatic Screen Fit: The projector can automatically adjust the image size to fit the available screen area.

6.2. Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Press the power button on the projector or remote control.
  2. Navigation: Use the arrow buttons on the remote control to navigate through menus.
  3. Selection: Press the 'OK' or 'Enter' button to confirm selections.
  4. Source Selection: Access the input source menu to choose between HDMI, USB, or screen mirroring.

7. Connectivity

7.1. HDMI Connection

Connect your laptop, gaming console, or other HDMI-enabled devices to the projector using an HDMI cable. Select the HDMI input source from the projector's menu.

7.2. WiFi 6 Wireless Mirroring

The projector supports WiFi 6 for stable and fast wireless screen mirroring from compatible devices.

  1. Ensure your projector and smart device are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. Select the 'Screen Mirroring' or 'Wireless Projection' option from the projector's main menu.
  3. On your smart device, enable screen mirroring (e.g., AirPlay for iOS, Smart View/Cast for Android) and select the projector from the list of available devices.

Note: Due to HDCP copyright limitations, streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu can only be played via a TV Stick, Roku, or similar external devices connected via HDMI.

7.3. Bluetooth 5.2 Audio

Connect external Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or earphones to enhance your audio experience.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your external audio device and set it to pairing mode.
  2. On the projector, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.
  3. Select your audio device from the list to pair.

Note: Bluetooth is primarily for connecting external audio devices to improve sound quality, not for mobile phone data transmission.

8. Maintenance

  • Lens Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Dust Removal: Regularly clean the projector's vents with a soft brush or compressed air to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance and lifespan.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry, dust-free environment.

9. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the projector and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet.
  • No Image:
    • Check if the correct input source (HDMI, USB, Screen Mirroring) is selected.
    • Ensure the connected device is powered on and outputting a signal.
    • Verify that the lens cap (if any) is removed.
  • Blurred Image: The projector features auto-focus. If the image remains blurry, try moving the projector slightly or restarting it to trigger auto-focus again. Ensure the lens is clean.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the volume settings on both the projector and the connected source device.
    • If using external Bluetooth speakers, ensure they are properly paired and powered on.
    • If using HDMI, ensure the audio output is correctly configured on the source device.
  • Wireless Mirroring Issues:
    • Ensure both devices are on the same WiFi network.
    • Check for strong WiFi signal strength.
    • Restart both the projector and the smart device.
