Setup

Unfolding the Scooter

The MSC-12 mobility scooter is designed for easy folding and unfolding. Follow these steps to prepare your scooter for use:

  1. Remove the basket and flip up the armrests.
  2. Pull the red knobs located on both sides of the seat frame to release the locking mechanism.
  3. Gently unfold the scooter until it locks into its upright position.
  4. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before sitting on the scooter.

Battery Installation and Charging

The scooter comes with a 20Ah high-energy lithium battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before initial use.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The LCD control panel provides essential information and allows you to manage scooter functions.

  • Power Switch: Turns the scooter on/off.
  • Battery Display: Shows current battery level.
  • Speed Display: Indicates current speed.
  • Speed Controller: Adjusts the maximum speed.
  • Forward/Backward Joystick: Controls movement direction. Push forward to move forward, pull back to move backward.

Driving the Scooter

  1. Power On: Insert the key and turn the power switch to the 'ON' position.
  2. Select Mode: The scooter supports dual-mode operation. Toggle the switch lever downward for electric mode (powered driving) or upward for manual mode (pushing).
  3. Adjust Speed: Use the speed controller to set your desired maximum speed.
  4. Start Moving: Gently push the forward joystick to move forward or pull the backward joystick to move backward. Release the joystick to engage the electromagnetic brakes and stop.
  5. Turning: Steer the handlebar in the desired direction.

Electromagnetic Braking System
