Assembly is designed to be straightforward and can typically be completed within 30 minutes. All necessary tools and graphical instructions are included.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify all parts against the package contents list.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Connect the metal frame components according to the included graphical instructions. Ensure all screws are finger-tightened initially.
  3. Install Shelves: Insert the adjustable wire shelves into the desired positions on the frame. The middle shelf is height-adjustable to accommodate various item sizes. Secure the shelves as per instructions.
  4. Attach Top Panel: Place the extended wood top panel onto the assembled frame and secure it with the provided hardware.
  5. Install Wheels or Feet: Decide whether to use the lockable wheels for mobility or the adjustable feet for stationary use. Screw the chosen components into the bottom of the cart legs. If using wheels, ensure the two lockable wheels are positioned on the same side for easy access.

Operating Instructions

Adjustable Shelf

The middle wire shelf is designed for height adjustment, allowing you to customize the storage space to fit taller items such as small appliances, large pots, or stacked dishware. To adjust the shelf:

  1. Empty the shelf of all items.
  2. Carefully lift the shelf and reposition it to the desired height by aligning it with the notches on the frame.
  3. Ensure the shelf is securely seated at all four corners before placing items back on it.

Lockable Wheels

The cart is equipped with four smooth-rolling casters, two of which are lockable. This feature allows for easy mobility when you need to move the cart and secure stability when it needs to remain stationary.

  • To Move: Ensure both lockable wheels are in the unlocked position. Gently push or pull the cart to its desired location.
  • To Secure: Once the cart is in place, press down on the lever of each lockable wheel until it clicks into the locked position. This will prevent the cart from rolling.

Using S-Hooks

The six S-hooks provided can be hung on the side rails of the cart. They are ideal for organizing frequently used items such as cooking utensils, mugs, dish towels, or small tools, keeping them within easy reach.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the wood top and metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
  • Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the wood surface.
  • Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • Environment: Keep the cart in a dry environment. Prolonged exposure to moisture can cause damage to the materials.

Troubleshooting

  • Cart is Wobbly:
Solution: Ensure all screws are fully tightened. If using adjustable feet, verify that all four feet are making firm contact with the floor and adjust them to level the cart. If using wheels, ensure they are properly installed and not damaged.
  • Difficulty Assembling:
Solution: Review the graphical instructions carefully. Ensure you are using the correct hardware for each step. Do not force parts together. If a part seems misaligned, disassemble and re-attempt the step. Contact customer support if issues persist.
  • Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly:
Solution: Check for any debris or hair caught in the wheels. Ensure the wheels are securely attached and not overtightened, which can restrict movement.
  • Shelf Not Staying in Place:
Solution: Ensure the shelf is correctly seated in the designated notches on the frame at all four corners.
