1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Mondeer HDLS 4-Section 150L Laundry Sorter. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new laundry sorter. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

This laundry sorter is designed to help organize your laundry with its four distinct sections, a total capacity of 150 liters, and convenient features such as wheels for mobility, side pockets for small items, and pull-out removable liners for easy transport of clothes.

2. Components List

Before assembly, please ensure all parts are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

  • Metal Frame (main structure)
  • Engineered Wood Top Shelf
  • 2 x 50L Large Laundry Bags (with reinforced PP boards)
  • 2 x 25L Small Laundry Bags (with reinforced PP boards)

3. Setup Instructions

The Mondeer Laundry Sorter is designed for quick and easy assembly without specialized tools. Follow these steps to set up your unit:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Verify all components against the parts list.
  2. Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the frame sections using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten until the entire frame is assembled.
  3. Attach the Top Shelf: Place the engineered wood top shelf onto the assembled metal frame and secure it with the designated screws.
  4. Install Mobility Option: Decide whether to use the swivel wheels for mobility or the adjustable leveling feet for stationary use.
    • For Mobility: Screw the 4 swivel wheels into the bottom of the frame. Ensure the 2 locking wheels are positioned at the front for easy access.
    • For Stability: Screw the 4 adjustable leveling feet into the bottom of the frame. Adjust them as needed to ensure the sorter is stable and level on uneven surfaces.

  5. Insert Laundry Bags: Place the two 50L large laundry bags and two 25L small laundry bags into their respective compartments within the frame. Ensure the reinforced PP boards are at the bottom of each bag to prevent sagging.
  6. Attach Side Pocket Organizer: Secure the side pocket organizer to the side of the frame as desired.

Once assembled, gently test the stability of the unit before loading it with laundry.

4. Operating Instructions

The Mondeer Laundry Sorter is designed for efficient and convenient laundry management.

4.1 Sorting Laundry

  • Utilize the two 50L large bags for bulky items such as towels, bedding, or dark clothes.
  • Use the two 25L small bags for delicate items, underwear, socks, or light-colored garments.
  • The 4-pocket sorting system helps prevent color transfer and simplifies pre-wash separation.

4.2 Using Side Pockets and Top Shelf

  • The sturdy top shelf can hold detergents, fabric softeners, folded clean laundry, or other bathroom/laundry room essentials. It supports up to 66 pounds.
  • The side pocket organizer is ideal for storing smaller items such as dryer sheets, stain removers, brushes, or other accessories.

4.3 Mobility and Stability

  • If using wheels, unlock the two locking castors to move the sorter freely. Lock them when the sorter is in its desired position to prevent accidental movement.
  • If using leveling feet, adjust them to ensure the sorter remains stable and does not wobble.

4.4 Removing and Reinserting Laundry Bags

  • The laundry bags are designed to pull out easily from their compartments. Use the integrated handles for convenient transport to your washing machine.
  • To reinsert, simply slide the bags back into their designated slots. The reinforced PP boards and secure stoppers help keep them in place.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your laundry sorter.

  • Frame and Top Shelf: Wipe the metal frame and engineered wood top shelf with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Dry thoroughly.
  • Laundry Bags: The removable laundry bags can be cleaned by hand washing with mild detergent and cold water, or on a gentle cycle in a washing machine. Air dry completely before reinserting to prevent mildew. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  • Wheels/Leveling Feet: Periodically check the wheels or leveling feet for any debris or looseness. Clean the wheels if necessary to ensure smooth movement. Tighten leveling feet if they become loose.
  • General Inspection: Routinely check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Mondeer Laundry Sorter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
