2. Compatibility

4. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation. Refer to the provided wiring diagrams and instructions for your specific Ford Fiesta model year.

4.1 Pre-Installation Steps

  1. Carefully remove the factory radio and dashboard trim.
  2. Important: After removing the factory unit, you will need to cut four specific tabs on the dashboard structure to ensure the new stereo fits properly and sits flush. Failure to do so may result in the stereo protruding slightly.
  3. Identify and label all existing wiring harnesses from the factory unit.

4.2 Wiring Connections

Connect the corresponding plugs from the Ossuret stereo harness to your vehicle's wiring. The plugs are labeled according to the Ford Fiesta model year. Ensure all connections are secure.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Ossuret car stereo runs on Android 14, providing a user-friendly interface and access to various applications and features.

5.1 Touch Screen Operation

The 10.4-inch HD touchscreen offers fine image quality and true color. Navigate through menus, select options, and control functions by tapping, swiping, and pinching on the screen.

5.2 Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto

Connect your smartphone wirelessly or via USB to access Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to use your phone's navigation, make calls, send/receive messages, and stream music directly through the car stereo interface.

  • Connection: Use Wi-Fi/WLAN/Bluetooth/USB cable to connect your smartphone.
  • Functions: Online navigation, hands-free calls, SMS, music/podcasts.

5.3 MirrorLink Function

MirrorLink allows you to display your smartphone's screen directly on the car stereo. This function supports both iPhone (via AirPlay over Wi-Fi) and Android phones (via USB cable using Easy Connect Apps).

  • iPhone: Use AirPin(PRO) Apps to connect via Wi-Fi hotspot.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Ossuret car stereo, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touchscreen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the screen.
  • Software Updates: Periodically check for and install software updates to ensure the system runs efficiently and has the latest features and security patches.
  • Temperature Control: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures for extended periods. High heat can affect screen performance and internal components.
  • Cable Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Loose connections can lead to intermittent functionality.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your car stereo, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
