4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Case and Earphones
The compact charging case has a 300 mAh battery, providing up to 18 hours of total autonomy. Individual earphones offer up to 6 hours of continuous use. Charging via USB-C is fast and convenient.
- To charge the charging case, connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source. The LED indicators on the case will show the charging status.
- To charge the earphones, place them securely inside the charging case. Ensure the charging contacts align. The earphones will begin charging automatically. A full charge for the earphones takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
4.2 Pairing with a Device
- Ensure the earphones are charged. Open the charging case. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by flashing LED lights.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select 'Aiwa AW-AK56' from the list.
- Once connected, the earphone LEDs will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
- The earphones will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case and within range.
5. Operating Instructions
The AW-AK56 features capacitive touch controls for easy management of music, calls, and voice assistant without needing to access your phone.
5.1 Touch Controls
- Play/Pause Music: Single tap on either earphone.
- Next Track: Double tap on the right earphone.
- Previous Track: Double tap on the left earphone.
- Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earphone.
- Reject Call: Press and hold on either earphone for 2 seconds.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earphone.
5.2 Making/Receiving Calls
The integrated microphone allows for clear voice pickup during calls. Use the touch controls as described above to manage calls.
5.3 Voice Assistant
Support for virtual assistants allows you to activate your device's assistant with a simple touch command (triple tap).

6.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean the earphones and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
6.2 Water and Dust Resistance
The AW-AK56 earphones are IP54 certified, providing resistance to dust and water splashes. This makes them suitable for sports and outdoor activities. Do not submerge the earphones in water.
6.3 Storage
When not in use, store the earphones in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
7. Troubleshooting
- Earphones not pairing: Ensure both earphones are charged. Place them back in the case, close it, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode. Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
- No sound from one earphone: Ensure both earphones are charged and properly paired. Try resetting the earphones by placing them in the case and then removing them. If the issue persists, try re-pairing them with your device.
- Earphones not charging: Check if the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source. Ensure the charging contacts on the earphones and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
- Poor sound quality: Ensure the earphones are securely fitted in your ears. Check the audio source and volume levels on your device. Move closer to your device to avoid interference.
