3. Setup and Installation

The Fitcamx dash cam is designed for a plug-and-play installation, requiring no complex wiring. Follow these steps carefully:

2. Remove Covers: Push forward to remove the back cover. Then, remove the middle plastic cover, followed by the front plastic cover.
3. Connect Power Cable: Locate the rain sensor plug (Plug A, 3-pin connector). Unplug it and connect the provided Y-cable adapter to it. The adapter will draw power from this connection. Plug B, the rearview mirror plug, does not need to be removed or connected.

Once installed and powered, the Fitcamx dash cam will automatically start recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will stop recording shortly after the ignition is turned off.

Using the FITCAMX App

The built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect your smartphone to the dash cam via the FITCAMX app. This app provides real-time viewing, video playback, and camera settings adjustments.
