2.2 Rapid Trigger Technology

The Hall Effect magnetic switches enable Rapid Trigger technology. This allows for adjustable actuation points between 0.1-4.0 mm, providing hyper-fast actuation and reset. This feature is primarily configured through the Redragon software, allowing users to fine-tune sensitivity for gaming or typing preferences.

2.3 8K Polling Rate

The keyboard supports an 8,000Hz hyper-polling rate, reducing input latency to 0.125ms. This ensures that every keystroke is registered almost instantly, which is beneficial for competitive gaming. This high polling rate is active when connected via the wired USB-C connection.

3. Customization

3.1 Hot-Swappable Switches

The K631 HE features hot-swappable switches, allowing users to easily replace individual switches without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel and sound. 3.2 RGB Backlighting

The keyboard features customizable RGB backlighting. Various lighting modes, colors, brightness, and speed can be adjusted directly on the keyboard using Fn key combinations or through the Redragon software. Note that non-transparent switches or keycaps may affect the visibility and diffusion of the RGB lighting.

  • Fn + N: Cycle through different lighting modes.
  • Fn + M: Switch between dynamic RGB and static color.
  • Fn + TAB: Set backlight to full-lit white.
  • Fn + Arrow Keys: Adjust RGB brightness and speed.
  • Fn + Print Screen: Turn off RGB backlight.

4. Connectivity

The K631 HE keyboard offers wired USB-C connectivity. This model is primarily designed for wired use to ensure the lowest latency and full 8K polling rate. There is no mention of wireless connectivity (2.4GHz or Bluetooth) in the product specifications for this specific "HE Version".

For wired connection, simply plug the provided USB-A to USB-C cable into the keyboard and your computer's USB port. The keyboard should be recognized automatically by your operating system.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

To clean the keyboard, first disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush. Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting.

5.2 Switch Care

The Hall Effect magnetic switches are designed for durability. If a switch feels inconsistent or needs replacement, use the switch puller to carefully remove it and insert a new one. Avoid excessive force when removing or inserting switches to prevent damage to the switch or the PCB.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
  • Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
  • Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a system-specific issue.
  • If using a USB hub, try connecting directly to the computer.

6.2 RGB Lighting Issues

  • Check the RGB brightness settings using Fn + Arrow Up/Down.
  • Ensure the backlight is not turned off (Fn + Print Screen).
  • If using custom profiles, verify settings in the Redragon software.

6.3 Actuation Point Inconsistency

  • Ensure the Redragon software is up to date.
  • Recalibrate actuation points through the software.
  • Check for any physical obstructions or debris around the switches.

6.4 Factory Reset
