This unit features a 9.7-inch HD touch screen, Android operating system, 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM, and supports wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth, Mirror Link, Steering Wheel Control (SWC), DVR, DAB+, and RDS functions.

2. Safety Information

  • Professional Installation Recommended: Installation of this product requires technical knowledge and experience. It is highly recommended to have it installed by a qualified professional.
  • Vehicle Compatibility: Ensure the unit is compatible with your specific vehicle model and year (Ford Mustang 2010-2014). Verify wiring harness and adapter requirements before installation.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation Check

Before beginning installation, verify the compatibility of the car stereo with your Ford Mustang (2010-2014). It is crucial to confirm the year and model number. If unsure, provide a complete image of the plugs on the back of your vehicle's center console and the original main unit to the seller for verification of wiring harness or adapter requirements.

4.2 Product Wiring

Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper connections. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent malfunctions.

4.3 Reversing Camera Installation

The reversing input must be connected even if the reversing camera is not used. Follow these steps for the included backup camera:

  1. Connect the camera's positive power wire to the positive pole of the car's reversing light.
  2. Connect the camera's negative power wire to the negative pole of the car's reversing light.
  3. The reversing trigger is controlled by the stereo and does not require a separate connection.
  4. The white plug from the camera must be connected to the main device for Bluetooth and WiFi signals.

4.4 Backup Camera Format and Resolution Setup

To ensure your backup camera displays correctly, follow these steps to adjust its format and resolution:

  1. Tap the settings icon on the main screen to open the settings menu.
  2. Select "Factory Settings" and enter the password "8888".
  3. Navigate to "Protocol Parameter Settings".
  4. Select "Reverse video resolution settings".
  5. Choose the correct setting based on your camera type: For OEM cameras, select NTSC/PAL. For the included camera, keep the default AHD/25.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

The unit features a responsive touch screen for most functions. Physical buttons or knobs may be available for common controls like volume and power. Refer to the on-screen interface for specific application controls.

5.2 CarPlay and Android Auto

Connect your iOS or Android smartphone via wired USB cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth and WiFi to access CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows integration of phone functions like navigation, music, calls, and messages, with voice control support.

5.3 Mirror Link

The Mirror Link function supports screen mirroring from both iOS and Android smartphones via WiFi, allowing you to display your phone's screen on the car stereo.

5.4 GPS Navigation

The car stereo offers both offline and online navigation options. You can use offline navigation by connecting the included GPS module. For online navigation, connect to WiFi/WLAN and download navigation apps from the Play Store, such as Google Maps.

5.5 Bluetooth Functions

7.1 Backup Camera Issues

Problem: Backup camera not displaying or displaying incorrectly.

Solution:

  • Ensure the camera is properly wired to the reversing light and the main unit (refer to Section 4.3).
  • Verify the backup camera format and resolution settings (refer to Section 4.4). For OEM cameras, select NTSC/PAL. For the included camera, use AHD/25.
  • This unit only supports OEM CVBS 720P backup cameras. 360-degree panoramic cameras are not supported. If your OEM camera is incompatible, use the included backup camera.

7.2 Installation and Wiring Concerns

Problem: Difficulty with product installation or power cord connections.

Solution:

  • Provide the correct wiring diagram of your vehicle to the seller to confirm compatibility.
  • Ensure you have purchased the correct power cords and protocols specific to your vehicle model.
