5. Setup

5.1 Attaching the Brackets

  1. Carefully unpack all components from the box.
  2. Attach the extendable brackets to both ends of the LED light fixture. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Place the light fixture on top of your aquarium, adjusting the extendable brackets to fit the tank's width (18-24 inches).

With Timer:

  1. Press and hold the Night Light button for 3 seconds, then press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter timer settings.
  2. Briefly press the ▲/▼ buttons to set the start time (press SET to switch between hours and minutes), then briefly press SET to confirm.
  3. Briefly press the Brightness button to adjust the brightness, then briefly press the SET button.
  4. Briefly press the ▲/▼ buttons to set the end time (press SET to switch between hours and minutes), then briefly press SET to confirm.
  5. Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to save the settings.

6.3 Setting the Day Light Mode

This section explains how to set the day light mode, with or without a timer. The white light is full-spectrum, and only its brightness can be adjusted.

Without Timer:

  1. Short press the Day Light button.

With Timer:

  1. Press and hold the Day Light button for 3 seconds, then press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter timer settings.
  2. Set the start time: Adjust the [hours] using the ▲/▼ buttons. Briefly press the SET button to switch to adjusting the [minutes]. Adjust the [minutes] using the ▲/▼ buttons. Briefly press the SET button to confirm.
  3. Set the brightness: Briefly press the brightness button to adjust to the desired brightness. Briefly press the SET button to confirm.
  4. Set the end time: Adjust the [hours] using the ▲/▼ buttons. Briefly press the SET button to switch to adjusting the [minutes]. Adjust the [minutes] using the ▲/▼ buttons. Briefly press the SET button to confirm.
  5. Save and exit: Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to save all settings and exit.

6.4 Setting the Day + Night Light Mode

This mode combines both white full-spectrum light and blue night light. The night light automatically activates when the white light turns off, requiring no further settings for the night light portion.

  1. Briefly press the White + Night Light button.
  2. Long-press the SET button for 3 seconds to enter the settings.
  3. Briefly press the ▲/▼ buttons to set the white light start time (press SET to switch between hours/minutes), then press SET to confirm.
  4. Adjust the brightness, then briefly press the SET button to confirm.
  5. Adjust the night light brightness, then briefly press the SET button to confirm.
  6. Briefly press the ▲/▼ buttons to set the night light end time (press SET to switch between hours/minutes), then long-press the SET button for 3 seconds to save.

6.5 DIY Mode Setup

The DIY mode allows for custom programming of up to 5 segments (L1-L5) with different colors, brightness levels, and durations.

    • Select color (briefly press the color button, press SET to confirm).
    • Adjust brightness (briefly press the brightness button, press SET to confirm).
    • Briefly press ▲/▼ to set the end time for L1, press DIY/OK to proceed to the next segment.
  3. After setting L5, briefly press the DIY/OK button to save all settings.

6.6 24/7 Default Mode

This mode simulates a natural 24-hour sunrise and sunset pattern, providing a hands-free natural cycle for your aquarium.

  1. Press the 24/7 Mode button once to activate.
  2. The light will automatically turn on at 6:00 AM and off at 11:00 PM, transitioning through dawn, daylight, dusk, and moonlight phases.
  3. To adjust the local time, long press the SET button for 3 seconds, then use ▲/▼ to adjust hours/minutes and SET to confirm.

6.7 Memory Function

The light features intelligent power recovery. In case of a power outage, it automatically restores all previous settings. You may need to reset the local time. If no adjustment is made within 5 minutes of reboot, the system seamlessly resumes the 24/7 automatic cycle.
