Powering the Camera

The Xplorer Grip Pro has a built-in 2010mAh battery that can power the Ace Pro 2 camera. This extends shooting time significantly, providing up to 5 hours and 40 minutes of non-stop shooting in 1080p24fps Endurance Mode, or up to 140 minutes in 4K60fps with Active HDR enabled. Maintenance

Applying the Magnetic Lens Cover

The kit includes a magnetic lens cover for the Ace Pro 2. To apply:

  1. Ensure the camera lens is clean and dust-free using the provided screen cloth and dust remover.
  2. Use the protector application kit to align and press the magnetic lens cover onto the camera lens.
  3. The magnetic design allows for easy attachment and removal.

Protecting the Audio Port

When the 3.5mm audio input is not in use, insert the provided rubber plug into the port to protect it from dust and moisture.

Troubleshooting

Accessing the Micro SD Card

The Xplorer Grip Pro Kit includes a slot for a spare micro SD card. However, this is for storage only and not an active slot for direct data transfer. To access or transfer footage from your micro SD card, you will need to remove the camera from the grip and access the camera's native micro SD card slot.

Data Transfer via USB-C

The USB-C port on the grip is primarily for charging the built-in battery and the camera. For data transfer to a computer, it is recommended to connect the camera directly to your computer after removing it from the grip, as the grip's USB-C port may not support data transfer functionality.

Waterproof Status

When the Ace Pro 2 camera is installed in the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, the camera is no longer waterproof. While it may withstand light rain or splashes, it is not suitable for submersion underwater. Ensure the camera is removed from the grip if waterproof capabilities are required.
