Controls and Ports:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music.
  • Volume Up/Next Track Button: Press to increase volume, hold to skip to the next track.
  • Volume Down/Previous Track Button: Press to decrease volume, hold to go to the previous track.
  • EQ Button: Press to cycle through equalizer modes (Bass, Mid, Treble).

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker.

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the DC5V port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off (refer to specific LED behavior in the quick start guide if available).

A full charge provides up to 15 hours of playback at 50% volume. Turning off the RGB lights can extend battery life.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights activate.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights turn off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

Connect your speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device.

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED light).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "M17" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

Pair two M17 speakers for an immersive stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both M17 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Play/Pause button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a TWS pairing prompt.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.1. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

5.3 Playing Music from Other Sources

  • TF Card: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback.
  • USB Drive: Insert a USB drive with audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.
  • AUX Input: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the AUX port. The speaker will switch to AUX mode.

5.4 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once to answer an incoming call.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call to end it.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.

5.5 LED Light Modes

The speaker features 8 dynamic RGB lighting modes that sync with your music.

  • Press the Light Mode Button to cycle through the available lighting effects.
  • Press and hold the Light Mode Button to turn the LED lights off or on.

5.6 EQ Tuning

Customize your audio experience with the built-in 3-band equalizer.

  • Press the EQ Button to switch between different sound profiles (Bass, Mid, Treble).
  • Select the profile that best suits your music genre or personal preference.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.

6.2 Waterproof Rating (IPX7)

The xinwld M17 speaker has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

  • Ensure the charging port and other covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
  • While waterproof, it is recommended to avoid prolonged immersion in water.
  • After exposure to water, dry the speaker thoroughly before charging.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your speaker, refer to the following common solutions:

Speaker does not power on.Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Press and hold the Power Button for 3-5 seconds.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode. Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth. Forget "M17" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again. Ensure no other devices are connected to the speaker.
No sound or low volume.Increase the volume on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is not muted. Check if the correct input source (Bluetooth, AUX, TF, USB) is selected.
TWS pairing fails.Ensure both speakers are M17 models and are not connected to any other Bluetooth device. Try resetting both speakers and repeating the TWS pairing steps.
LED lights not working.Press the Light Mode Button to cycle through modes or turn them on.
